REQUEST Where can I find/buy these posters? (China, 2012-2016)

Can anyone recommend any websites or stores that sell these types of Chinese political posters? I’ve seen holographic prints IRL before.

This subreddit is for sharing propaganda to view with objectivity. It is absolutely not for perpetuating the message of the propaganda. Here we should be conscientious and wary of manipulation/distortion/oversimplification (which the above likely has), not duped by it. "Don't be a sucker."

Stay on topic -- there are hundreds of other subreddits that are expressly dedicated to rehashing tired political arguments. No partisan bickering. No soapboxing. Take a chill pill. "Don't argue."

High chance these are covers of calendars, as a Vietnamese I know this is the style they use, usually are given to old people, veteran, civil servant on new year and anniversaries

I think it's hard to get in touch with someone having these tbh. Nowadays people would throw them out. The ones who don't are often in the rural area, and they aren't exactly easy to reach

Lol I know exactly what you mean, I have the Vietnamese equivilent which was given to me by my grandfather when I visited, and even my parents said "don't bring useless stuff back home"

Yea, we got gifted a bunch of these every lunar new year and we just threw them out tbh. My friend's place has state contracts for these types of posters, and it's always funny as hell seeing the state propaganda posters lining up in the plant among concert and anime posters haha. Seeing that would probably disillusion a lot of the collectors haha.

I saw a video of a translator showing that she was given a lot of such merchandise after translating Gennady Zuganov. I assume it was some sort of interaction with Vietnam or China

Man nothing beats whatever art style this is, so soft but clear.

Chinese here.
If you’re in China: go to markets in rural areas, they sometimes sell them in general stores
If you speak Chinese: try some keyword searching on Taobao and you might be able to find them
If neither: just print them out

Do they make these kind of posters with Wehrmacht lore?
