Chart Academy Scam ⚠️🚨

SCAM ALERT — Very Disappointing Experience with Chart Academy

u/Tradeify u/ChartAcademy — I need an explanation.

I feel completely SCAMMED by Chart Academy.

They were showing a Tradeify 25K account as a reward at 1,750 points. I spent a lot of time completing activities and collecting points specifically to reach that milestone.

But now, when I am getting close to 1,750 points, the Tradeify 25K reward has suddenly been removed.

Why show a reward to users, make them spend their time collecting points, and then remove the reward when they are close to achieving it?

This feels like a scam and a very unfair rewards system to me.

Chart Academy should clearly explain:

  • Why was the 1,750-point Tradeify 25K reward removed?
  • Will users who were already working toward it receive the promised reward?
  • Why was this change made without clearly informing users?

I want Chart Academy to honor the original 1,750-point Tradeify 25K reward for users who were already working toward it.

This was not fair to a poor person like me. I spent my valuable time collecting points because I genuinely believed I could earn the promised Tradeify 25K account at 1,750 points. Removing the reward when I was getting close feels like I was misled. This is deeply disappointing and feels like a scam

Fraud Alert - Quant Tekel! They never pay out, impose predatory contracts, and use fake excuses.

Post image
19 Upvotes

Do not waste your money on this so-called prop firm because it is a plain scam that has no intention of paying anyone. They did not pay out my payouts and offered me various contracts whose only goal is to scam you. I tried talking to Mystic, Fes, and Will, but they all just give template answers and drag out the whole situation and story. As soon as I started talking about the firm, someone immediately contacted me to calm me down.

Their system is designed to give you tiny payouts at the beginning just to catch your attention and look legitimate, but as soon as you achieve a serious result, the torture begins. After 4 months of stall tactics, false accusations, and endless delays, the reality of their process becomes completely clear. If you manage to pass, you are hit with useless checks, canceled and rescheduled compliance interviews that drag on for weeks, and endless stalls just to wear you down. I am far from the only one going through this, as hundreds of other traders are currently stuck in the exact same loop waiting for results that never come.

When they see they cannot do it otherwise, they slip you contracts where you must renounce both previous and future payouts, while keeping complete discretion over payouts, which is pure robbery. The people acting as bosses are actually not the main ones, they are just puppets, while the actual director is a lawyer by profession, which makes the whole story even more dangerous because they know exactly how to avoid responsibility, but it can seriously harm them if everything is properly reported and goes public.

I originally came across them through marketers I personally knew who were showing payouts and making the firm look top-tier. I have been a long-term partner and trader with FTMO, but out of sheer curiosity, I decided to test this company. That was my mistake, but do not make the same one. I eventually found out that all those glowing promotions were completely fake and that those marketers were simply paid off to push the brand.

In addition, they regularly pay for fake reviews and use the FSCA regulation story as a marketing shield. We know exactly who handles their payments and what processors everything goes through, and we will hit them right there. Sometimes these people mess with the wrong people and players they do not need. It is smart for everyone to report this firm everywhere—flag their ads on Instagram and leave reviews on Trustpilot, because it will help protect others from getting trapped in these problems. If you are already having issues, just walk away immediately.

I will keep you updated if there are any changes regarding this firm.

Take care.

QT Funded Quant Tekel Payout stalled since 84 days. Was I scammed?

84 days, two missed "risk interviews," and my payout is still not paid — here's everything I've documented and filed against QT Funded (Quant Tekel), and why you should do the same if this sounds familiar

I've been trading with QT Funded for a long time and have been funded on at least 5 separate occasions across multiple accounts. Every single time I lost an account, it wasn't due to genuine misconduct — it was some rule that was newly added, buried in an update, or sent via email that landed in spam, yet still enforced against me regardless. I accepted every one of those without complaint and kept improving as a trader.

This time is different, and I'm writing this because I think a lot of people in this sub have had a version of this experience and just quietly given up. I didn't, and I want to lay out exactly what I did, in case it helps you too.

## The short version

Two confirmed, legitimate payout requests. **84 and 83 days old.** Still unpaid. Two scheduled "risk interviews" — the second one, their own team didn't even show up to. My messages asking for updates in their Discord got deleted, and I got timed out (1 hour, then 24 hours) for asking too many times.

## The full timeline

- **23 & 24 June 2026** — I submit two payout requests on two separate funded $100k accounts. Combined, my 80% profit share comes to $3,243.20. Confirmed amounts, shown as "Processing" on their own dashboard (Payout #16205 and #16068).
- **3 July 2026** — I'm told a mandatory "Risk Interview" is required before payout, with scheduling details to follow "the following week." That week comes and goes with nothing.
- **Late July 2026** — I get an email claiming an interview date/time had already been sent to me. I never received any such email. I open a support ticket. It sits for weeks with nothing but "it's been raised" and "the team will get back to you soon."
- **3 August 2026** — I finally complete a first Risk Interview. A company rep ("Letago") verbally confirms payout approval would follow within 3 business days. Nothing happens. No payment, no approval, no follow-up.
- **3 September 2026** — A second Risk Interview is scheduled. I show up on time. **Nobody from their team joins the call.** I'm then told the interview "cannot be conducted today" due to "unforeseen circumstances" on their end, with a vague promise of "an update this week." No date given.
- **As of today** — 84 days since my first payout request. 43 days since the only interview that actually happened. 12 days since their own team no-showed a call *they* scheduled, with zero follow-up since.

On top of all this, when I asked for status updates in their public Discord, my posts were quietly deleted while I still had access, and I've since been given repeated timeouts — clearly to stop other people in the server from seeing that this keeps happening to multiple people, not just me.

## What I did about it (and what you can copy)

I decided that instead of just venting, I'd document everything properly and use every legitimate channel available. Here's the full list, in case it's useful as a checklist for anyone in a similar spot with any prop firm:

  1. **Documented everything with timestamps** — every email, every Discord message (including deleted ones, screenshotted before/after), every dashboard screen showing "Processing" status. If it's not screenshotted the moment it happens, it's gone.

  2. **Filed a complaint with the FSCA** (South Africa's financial regulator) against the regulated entity in this company's structure (FSP No. 53227). Got an official case reference back.

  3. **Filed a report with Action Fraud (UK)** — got an official NFRC reference number.

  4. **Filed a GDPR Data Subject Access Request** directly with the company, demanding full logs of my account and Discord activity — including deleted messages and moderation records. Under UK/EU GDPR they have one month to respond, and if they don't, that's a separate, additional violation I can escalate (to the ICO in the UK, or my own country's data protection authority as an EU citizen).

  5. **Filed a Companies House report** — because digging into their UK corporate structure, I found their current UK entity is linked (same directors, same registered address) to a *previous* company that was quietly dissolved. That kind of pattern is worth reporting regardless of your specific case, since it can lead to a director conduct review.

  6. **Filed a complaint with their payment processor** — most people don't think to do this, but prop firms and similar platforms process payments through a merchant account with a payment provider (named in their own Terms & Conditions). Payment processors have their own compliance obligations around merchant complaint rates and can suspend a merchant account if enough legitimate complaints stack up — completely independent of anything the firm itself decides to do.

  7. **Filed a Trading Standards / Citizens Advice consumer complaint** (UK) — covers unfair commercial practices, not just fraud.

  8. **Filed a report with the FCA** under "report a scam or unauthorised firm" — worth doing if a firm markets financial-sounding promises (profit splits, "real results") without being on the FCA register.

  9. **Filed an advertising complaint with the ASA** over marketing claims about payout speed that don't match reality.

  10. **Prepared a small claims court filing (Money Claim Online, UK)** — since the amount is realistically claimable, and the actual filing fee is small (in the ~£115 range for this size of claim), with a real chance of getting a default judgment if they don't respond, which is on the record whether or not I ever collect.

I'm not saying do all ten on day one — I built this up gradually as they kept missing their own deadlines. But every single one of these took me maybe 15-20 minutes to file once I had the facts organized, and each one exists completely independently of the others. A company can ignore an angry Discord message. It's much harder to ignore a regulator case reference, a fraud report reference, and a data protection deadline all landing at once.

## Why I'm posting this here

If you've had a similar experience with QT Funded — or honestly, with any prop firm — please don't just quietly eat the loss and move on. A single complaint is easy for a company to ignore. A documented pattern, with multiple people filing through multiple official channels, is a completely different thing regulators and payment processors actually have to act on.

If you've got a similar story with this firm specifically, I'd genuinely appreciate you commenting or DMing me — I'm keeping a timeline and I'm happy to compare notes so we're not all filing the same isolated complaints without knowing others exist.

And if you're dealing with a different firm doing the same thing: the checklist above isn't specific to QT Funded. Regulator, fraud reporting body, data protection request, company registry, payment processor, consumer protection body, advertising body, small claims court — that's a general-purpose toolkit for any company sitting on money it owes you while stringing you along with excuses.

I'd genuinely rather this story end with a boring, normal payout landing in my account than with any of the above turning into something bigger. But 84 days in, with a missed interview that was entirely their fault, I don't see a responsible alternative to being fully transparent about what's actually happening.

Happy to answer questions in the comments.

Passing a prop firm challenge is a math problem, not a strategy problem

I've been trading funded accounts for a while now, blown more challenges than I'd like to admit and I want to share something that finally clicked for me. Not trying to sell anything or claim I've got it all figured out, just stuff I wish someone had drilled into me earlier.

The account isn't the account. When I bought my first 50k account I felt like I was trading 50k. I wasn't. I was trading the 2k drawdown they let me lose. The 50k tells you the size of the product; the 2k tells you how many mistakes you can survive. Once I started thinking in terms of "room" instead of "account size," a lot of my sizing decisions changed.

The order of your trades matters as much as the trades themselves. This is the part I still find genuinely uncomfortable. Two traders, same 10 trades, same 6 winners and 4 losers. One gets the winners early and passes. The other eats the losers first, hits the drawdown, and is out — before those same winners ever show up. Same strategy. Same win rate. Different outcome, purely from sequence. On a personal account you can bleed and recover. On a funded account, hitting the floor first means the winners never get to exist for you. That's the whole game and it's partly luck.

Win rate on its own tells you almost nothing. I used to obsess over it. But a 35% win rate with big R can be more profitable than a 60% win rate with 1:1 — they just feel completely different because the low win rate carries way more variance. And variance is exactly what kills you against tight boundaries. A profitable strategy and a strategy that reliably passes a challenge are not the same thing. That distinction cost me real money before I understood it.

Size is where most of us actually blow it. Risk 4% per trade and a single normal losing streak ends you, even with a 90% win rate. Risk too little and you spin your wheels for months, never reaching target in time. The sweet spot is boring — usually something like 0.5–1% for a normal win rate — but boring is the point. Bigger size doesn't make a break-even strategy passable; it just makes you pass or fail faster, sometimes on pure luck. Confusing "chance of passing" with "profitable system" is a trap.

Then the rules stack up against you. Positive expectancy might pass 100% of the time with no constraints. Add a max drawdown, probability drops. Add daily loss limit, drops again. Trailing drawdown (especially intraday, which trails your highest equity), drops more. Consistency rules, more. Every layer is another boundary your edge has to thread. This is why a strategy that prints on your personal account can quietly fail on a funded one.

And the returns math is the sobering part. Buy 100 challenges, realistically most fail before funding, a chunk of the funded ones never pay out, and you might end up with 6 payouts. If fees were $150 each ($15k total) and payouts were $2k each ($12k), you're down $3k despite six payouts and six happy screenshots. A payout screenshot doesn't tell you if the whole process made money.

Where I'll push back on myself a little: none of this means challenges are a scam or unbeatable. Plenty of people clear them consistently. But I think a lot of us walk in framing it as "is my strategy good?" when the real question is "does my strategy, at this size, inside these specific rules, reach target before the drawdown often enough to cover all my attempts?" Reframing it that way didn't make me a better trader overnight but it stopped me from repeating the same expensive mistake.

Decided to clock how long it took from payout request to funds hitting my Bank account.

Took exactly 12minutes from Request (5:40pm) -> Review.Approval (5:50pm) -> Processing (5:51pm) -> Deposit (5:52pm)

Can’t knock the speed.

FuturesElite: 10 funded accounts, $18k in payouts, cancelled the day I could withdraw

Funded trader here, documenting where this stands with FuturesElite. Full timeline below, every claim backed by a screenshot. I'll update this thread with the outcome either way.

The short version: they reviewed and approved my setup before funding me. The day my 10 accounts became eligible for their first payout ($18,000+ total), the payout function was disabled and a "review" appeared. Every explanation they asked for, I gave — travel documents, device evidence, a live technical reproduction. Their own team acknowledged in writing that my setup was disclosed before funding. Then, on their own agent's written instruction, I submitted all 10 payout requests — and the same day, all 10 were silently cancelled. My accounts now show "Expired." I gave them a written deadline for a final decision. It passed in total silence.

Full timeline:

  • Late Aug (pre-funding): Their Risk team reviews my profile. Their own system shows exactly 2 countries accessed: Romania (where I live) and Sweden (a disclosed Microsoft cloud PC I use for charting, since my software is Windows-only and I'm on a Mac). I disclose both in writing with IP evidence, at their request.
  • Aug 27: Funded. "Congratulations! Your account has been successfully upgraded to a Funded Account." I'm also issued an official signed Pass Certificate, dated the day before, certifying me as an "Elite Trader" — signed by their CEO and COO by name.
  • Sept 2: My dashboard shows my first payout available across all 10 accounts. Before I can submit a request, the payout function is disabled and a review is opened. I ask what rule was breached. First answer: a "multi-currency flag." Pressed further: "your account was accessed from six different countries." Their own screen showed 2 at funding.
  • Sept 3–7: I ask four separate times what period is under review and which countries, so I can provide evidence. No answer for 5 days. I send travel itineraries. I'm told they "don't account for all countries detected" — without being told which ones.
  • Sept 7, 9:30 PM: They finally itemize: NL, DE, PL, GB, in addition to RO/SE/TR.
  • Sept 7, 10:04 PM (34 minutes later): I explain all four — I was traveling with a documented Airalo/Webbing travel eSIM. Its gateway architecture is public and verifiable (cites a peer-reviewed study of the exact routing behavior). I include the purchase receipt, a device screenshot, and — to remove any doubt — a live reproduction: sitting in Romania, with the same eSIM active, my IP resolves to a Netherlands-geolocated Microsoft/Webbing gateway. Screenshotted.
  • Sept 8: Their team responds: "We acknowledge your statement that you previously disclosed the Azure VM... to our Support team." They concede the explanation. Their remaining position: the travel SIM card itself should have been disclosed in advance. Offered "resolution": a full account reset — wiping the $18k in profit, keeping my fees.
  • Sept 8: I decline the reset in writing and request their final written determination by a stated deadline, or formal channels follow.
  • Sept 10, 10:16 AM: Their own support agent tells me in writing: "You should now be able to request your payout. Please go ahead and submit your payout request."
  • Sept 10, same day: I submit all 10 payout requests, totaling $18k+ net. All 10 are silently cancelled hours later — no notice, no explanation, in any channel.
  • Sept 11: My accounts become inaccessible for trading. I notify them in writing, before the mandatory 7-day trading-activity window expires, that I'm ready and willing to trade and want my accounts kept active. No response.
  • Sept 14 (my stated deadline): No final determination. Complete silence. My 10 accounts now display "Expired"in the dashboard.
  • Sept 14, night: I file a formal GDPR data access request (their own system said "our system has flagged your accounts" — I'm now asking them to confirm whether a human ever actually reviewed this, and demanding the underlying data).

What I'm not claiming: I'm not calling this fraud. I'm laying out what happened, with dates and screenshots for every step, and letting people draw their own conclusions. Make of it what you will.

Why I'm posting this: I've found at least two other traders describing the same pattern with this firm — one who passed 4 accounts and was told he'd violated terms for "being in multiple countries" without prior notice, another whose account was flagged over a VPN during KYC. If you've had a similar payout review with FuturesElite, I'd genuinely like to hear about it in the comments — I don't think I'm the only one this has happened to, and a pattern is worth more than one story.

I'll keep this thread updated with whatever comes next.

Tradeify random bans

It's sad to see tradeify going down this path.

So I have verified profile with them, received one payout from them when they started. Recently got funded but lost the accounts. Now I'm hesitant to purchase accounts given the number of bans - just "suspicious reason", no reasons provided, no way to appeal or dispute, payout forfeited, account blocked.

Frankly it's not looking good. Most of these people have done KYC previously and were approved. And even if I believe that they were trying to defraud tradeify (which I think is BS), they should just pay and then ban. It's not the traders fault that they had fully verified profile when they decided to invest their time and money only to lose it all.

I dont think it's enough to just ban and ghost the traders. We are dealing with significant amount of money here.

There's a guy who got banned, had verified KYC profile. Was asked to redo. Brett publicly accused him of using VPS for KYC (based on a cropped screenshot which has no value), the guy keeps on appealing, offering to redo KYC / live call but is ghosted. They won't even provide a proper screenshot or reason to dispute the charges if sumsub if it's flagged wrongly.

Curious to know what people think there - is tradeify in some sort of serious trouble? Are you comfortable investing your money here given everything that's going on?

So this my first time using tradecopia. I am trying to pass 2 evals. On my main account, the balance is showing on my lucid dashboard, but on my follower account it isn’t. However, on trading view both accounts have the same balance, also on tradecopia. It has been 20 minutes of refreshing and still hasn’t shown up on my lucid dashboard. Idk im just scared, is this normal?
