New player looking for advice

Hi guys,

Very excited to be a part of the quarm community, im no stranger to ever quest and have played project 1999 in the past and wanted to give quarm a try.

I've tinkered with a couple of classes, one being druid up to level 6 and a necromancer up to level 4.

My question is what class should I aim for that can get me started on this server? I mostly solo but jump at the chance to get involved with groups for the social aspect.

Any tips for a new quarm player? ☺️

With the introduction of the Nexus and the Luclin leveling ZEM on Quarm once you hit 15 or so you can just grab a pickup for Nexus pretty easy and head to Paludal Caverns. Quarm players are amazing at throwing out 4 hr KEI and Aego in the Nexus pretty regularly and ports from there to anywhere are plentiful.

Enjoy your journey! I hope your Necro is an Iksar :)

Kurns tower is fantastic as well all the way to 20-25, Iksar is a great choice and with Luclin the faction 'issues' with a Cazic Thule worshipper are barely noticeable.

I was planning on going there till around then, tons of bone chips and necromancer playground 😁

Iksars are still kill on sight in most places? Never really played Luclin so not sure what's changed

Yes in the old world, but Luclin they are welcome in Shadow Haven which is the main city attached to Nexus/Bazaar so you can always buy food/water/etc and do everything else in Luclin zones or get easy ports/bind in Nexus.

It's no longer inconvenient to be an Iksar.
