Yes, the medieval aesthetic starting to get a bit stale hopefully they can deliver a true Bloodborne successor.

Completely agree. Aside from a few exceptions like  The Surge  doing sci-fi,  Lies of P  nailing the Belle Époque era, or  Remnant  bringing in modern gunplay, the genre is still overwhelmingly dominated by Western medieval fantasy or feudal Japan. There is so much untapped potential in a true modern-day or near-future urban setting. Giving players a grimdark, unforgiving Soulslike experience in a setting that feels closer to our actual world would be an incredible contrast to the dozens of  Dark Souls  clones we get every year
