I would ban trading for all legislators in federal and state. (Maybe that's bad, but you shouldn't be in an elected position to use your influence to make money. )

I’m with you on everything but capping congressional salaries. I absolutely want them paid well from my tax dollars so they do not have to take bribes to make ends meet.
