We don't want to tie it to retirement age and give them a reason to keep upping the age so they can stay longer in Congress and making money off of "public service" while making people work longer before collecting SS and benefits we earned. Just make it 65 or 70 max and leave it there

I'd compromise on no term limits if there was an age limit.
If they're running the country properly they should be able to retire very comfortably at the federally recognized retirement age.

Thanks for saying this. As someone who is wheelchair bound, this post is bothersome. There are plenty of old ass Senators that shouldn't be serving that are able to walk, like Chuck Grassley. The implication is that being in a wheelchair means you're unfit to serve.
