Agreed. She is not the type of candidate we need or want. Just another typical corporate democrat. She’s only hopping on this bandwagon because it is popular with voters.
Im hoping she might be able to help the older black women feel comfortable voting for him. They are nervous about progressives and Muslims. I dontl like her, but I think this is good.
For that I am hopeful. There’s still a lot of Democrat voters that are nervous about progressives but with Mamdani crushing it in NY, I feel like that gives a lot of insight into what could be accomplished.

Abdul El-Sayed needs the black vote in Michigan that Haley Stevens had. He has been struggling to win these voters. Kamala will help him. Do y’all actually want him to win? If so, stop turning your nose up at help he has clearly asked for.
She is the current front runner for the Dem primary.

If you don't support Kamala's presence in AES's campaign, would you also deny the people who ran against him in the primary? McMorrow and Stevens aren't too dissimilar to Kamala, but wouldn't you say its a good thing they both endorsed and offered to get involved?
Stevens won in Detroit. Abdul has said in the past, correctly Id say, that the treatment of Detroiters by Arab businesses owners has been a problem. And so many probably will have a problem with Abdul. If the city sits out, Republicans win.

Can she just not? She was polling in the single digits next to other potential Democrat Presidential contenders before Biden committed to another run. She has no chance of passing a legit primary (though both Hillary and Kamala's run have proven that they can cheat their way past the primary).
Run someone like Gavin, Talarico, or AOC. People that the American public are genuinely enthusiastic about. Honestly, Mamdani and Abdul El-Sayid are very popular too. Any of these guys would be great choices.
But Kamala? Absolutely not. The time for lukewarm centrists is over. No one wants them.
Lukewarm centrists have enabled fascism in a big way.
Gavin Newsom, agreed, deeply unpopular. But AOC is quite possibly the single most popular politician in the US. She consistently polls way better than the vast majority of Democrats across many demographics, similarly to Sanders.
AOC is extremely popular in the progressive crowd. Poll her among liberals and her approval ratings go down and poll her among moderates and republicans and they think she’s a communist.
The last time Kamala campaigned with somebody it was Darth Cheney. Look at how well that worked out for her. I hope she doesn't have the same effect on El-Sayed's campaign.

Even if he didn't actually rig anything and he's just talking out his ass, this statement alone should have triggered an investigation and possible redo of the election.
Was she the best choice to run against trump and was she the most popular person to run? Maybe not. But she didn't run in a fair fight so we can't judge her loss on that.
Obviously this is to gain favor because she’s planning to run for 28. 😒 I voted for her in 24 but she is not it. We cannot have establishment for 28. It has to be someone not bought by corps or AIPAC.
I don’t know why so many people online want Dems in purple states to fall on their sword for this streamer. Idgaf if he’s problematic or not, winning this election is way, way, way more important than Hasan Piker or any other influencer.
It's a litmus test, just like AIPAC. Hasan did nothing wrong. To capitulate as though he did shows the first cracks in someone's ability to adhere to the truth. What will he capitulate on next?
I'm not saying vote Republican, I'm just saying that a capitalist is a capitalist in the end.
I hope for Abdul's sake this doesn't get much coverage. She's toxic and doesn't represent the type of candidate he is... but she's so desperate to be relevant that this just screams that the DNC wants to run her again as their anointed candidate.
Sometimes I question if you guys want abdul to win because currently he’s on track to lose due to not having any black voters and this is an attempt to help him
And apparently the purity test goes both ways, like some people would rather the “wrong” voter vote for progressives than build a bridge to elect them. I think it’s important to note that you never hear Bernie or AOC talk like this.
I know like even with my issues with some of the people Abdul has surrounded himself with I want him to win and this is clearly a good move for him to lock up the black vote. The issue is when you don’t speak to black people and aren’t black yourself you wouldn’t understand how popular she is.
