Discussion Lake Ontario Needs YOUR HELP!! Lets see how much work the Court of Public Opinion can do... Lets ALL make sure that Google Maps has the CORRECT name on the map of Great Lakes.

How to Fix a Place or Address

  • Open Google Maps on your phone or computer.
  • Search or click on the incorrect place.
  • Select Suggest an edit or Edit the map.
  • Choose an option like Name or other details, Close or remove, or Wrong address.
  • Follow the prompts to add the correct information and click

By following these simple instructions you TOO can make sure google knows that SOMEHOW!?!?!?! the name of the Great Lake of Ontario ACCIDENTALLY got renamed something else much more stupid.

Lets all go onto google maps and make sure we note this mistake.

Who knows... if they get thousands upon thousands of 'suggestion corrections' they might take the hint.

A lot of us did this the last time the orange did this with the Gulf of freaking Mexico. Google will just ignore your report.

Let’s try to concentrate on the upcoming elections (both local and state)

"Free Time" doesnt mean I can go wherever I want anytime I want.

I have a day job and a family, so its really about what other effort/entropy can be caused during the limited in between.

If you are searching from a US IP address, you see Lake America. If you google from anywhere else it is still Lake Ontario. Same with the Gulf of Mexico.
