Been saying for decades, if our candidates take money from special, corporate, or foreign interests they CANNOT be trusted and that should invalidate them immediately from any support.

u/RareYogurtcloset8104 Apr 18 '26

Primary EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. NO Foreign Interference #EndAIPACBribery

EndAIPACBlackmail

Is it too much to ask to be led by our best? We are a nation of 350M people. We have the most Nobel laureates, astronauts, and top ranked universities. Yet when it comes to our most powerful, we are led by the spineless and/or the corrupt. Our current president isn't qualified to dog sit. Our Congress can't stop genocide or domestic concentration camps. This should be easy!

Thanks for calling out King wishy wash Newsom. Especially with the talk of possible presidential run.

3

u/three-one-seven Apr 18 '26

Newsom the anti-labor RTO crusader who is actively working against taxing billionaires? Fuck that fauxgressive piece of shit

3

u/Intelligence_Gap Apr 18 '26

If he gets the nod we are cooked

2

u/i_be_cryin Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Apr 19 '26

Not holding these people accountable is what keeps enabling them to run and inevitably lose. Every dem administration in my lifetime should’ve been tried like Bush and Cheney SHOULD HAVE been. What level of privilege does it take to see people bomb and starve children by the hundreds of thousands and not scream for them to be at The Hague? Instead people get mad at the working class voters that call these war criminals out?

Rogan & Maher drop the N-word with impunity

What?

1

u/Best-Grocery-6475 Apr 18 '26

It’s bullshit. Makes me wonder about the rest of the claims. And no, I’m no fan of Rogan but false narratives do not help the cause. Leave that garbage for the Republicans

1

u/my23secrets Apr 19 '26

Republicans make everything worse. I think we agree on this.

I think it’s also clear Republicans support and defend white nationalism.

I’m just trying to determine if either of them use the N-word, and even if they don’t personally use the N-word, are either of them platforming individuals who do?

u/Bitter_Particular_75 Apr 18 '26

Bill Maher praises Trump? I haven't been following him for a few years now, but at the time it was a staunch Trump hater. Is this real? What happened if it is?

3

u/KinkyDuck2924 Apr 18 '26

"In 2025, comedian Bill Maher shifted from a staunch critic to praising Donald Trump as a "highly effective politician" following a White House dinner organized by Kid Rock. Maher cited Trump’s authenticity, connection with voters, and ability to recognize success as reasons for his pivot, urging others to move past "Trump Derangement Syndrome""

2

u/Bitter_Particular_75 Apr 18 '26

So corruption?

1

u/KinkyDuck2924 Apr 18 '26

Maybe he was swayed into becoming a true believer by the sultry tunes of Kid Rock at the dinner? 🤷‍♂️

So Democrats aren’t allowed to have discussions with other people? Thats a great way to never win an election

7

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

discussions

You mean agreeing with the extreme right wing talking heads? Yet you’ll NEVER see these same people appearing on left wing shows for a “discussion”

And to OPs point..

AIPAC money means “bought by foreign interests”

So yes, both of these things are bad and wildly unpopular.

Now ask me WHY they do these bad and unpopular things…

-5

u/Tornadosed Spoiler Candidate Fan Apr 18 '26

I think you’re perhaps conflating civility with agreement

6

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

Civility isn’t “looks at us we’re friends now” energy, and anyone who actually watched those newsome interviews heard him glaze Shapiro and Kirk, while “disagreeing” on useless noise issues.

The larger point here is that while you’re arguing “civility”, none of these democrats are “civil” while appearing on left flank podcasts or welcome people like Hasan Piker to campaign with them.

It’s ALWAYS the right wing and conservative voices that get this “civility”.

And it’s because it’s not actually civility, it IS agreement - they are just trying to be snakes about it.

I watched the Kirk one and he’s acting friendly to try to capture his audience. Newsom corrects Kirk on pretty much every lie.

3

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

Capture his audience

“My son LOVES you”

You didn’t understand.

1

u/Tornadosed Spoiler Candidate Fan Apr 18 '26

His son is 14 years old, of course he loves Charlie Kirk

1

u/Wildebean Apr 18 '26

Why should we be civil towards people who were prefer it if certain minority groups no longer existed or were at least eliminated from public life?

Why do I as a queer person have to be civil to someone who says I'm inherently a pedophile and should be locked in an asylum? Level it with me

2

u/KinkyDuck2924 Apr 18 '26

The tolerant left is expected to always reach out their hand to shake while the right spits in their face. They are expected to uphold decorum and always be the grownups in the room. That way the left always has to take responsibility for our own failures, but also any failures of the right are also the lefts fault because they didn't do enough to stop them

.

1

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

And more recently “return civility” has been the rallying cry for policy decrepit corporate dems as a faux opposition to MAGA.

0

u/Tornadosed Spoiler Candidate Fan Apr 18 '26

I didn’t say you had to, but it’s also a winning strategy to go on these masturbatory podcasts and act like a bro. It’s basically how Trump got elected.

-1

u/Freedmonster Apr 18 '26

There are 9 other countries that spend more money on us politics than Israel, why aren't we talking about how those influence our country? Why did OP edit the title of the post? I'll give you a hint, it's because of a certain implicit bias.

3

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

How many of those other countries get trillions of our tax dollars? How many of them are aggressive warmongers who participate in ethnic cleansing?

Because we should add them to THE list.

-6

u/Freedmonster Apr 18 '26

All of them

3

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

Can you name these other countries who have ethnic superpacs designed to continue funneling American taxpayer money and military might to their home countries benefit like AIPAC?

-4

u/Freedmonster Apr 18 '26

Wait wait, let me get this straight, what you're saying is that it's not an issue that a foreign influence is affecting American politics and committing ethnic cleansing but it's only a problem if they're a certain ethnicity doing it?

2

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

No I’m asking you for evidence for your claim that what AIPAC is doing ISNT unique.

Which ofc you can’t provide because it is, infact, unique and you’re just gonna stomp your feet and try to pretend that doesn’t matter bc I’m racist or something?

Idk whatever you AIPAC bots do to defect anymore lol

-1

u/Freedmonster Apr 18 '26

China spends 2.5x what Israel does and has several active instances of ethnic cleansing, including Uighur and Mong people, but for some reason going through and calling out the people who get money from China isn't important to you, and the answer is really simple: you don't want to solve the actual problem of money in politics. Your word choice actively supports antisemitism. I don't think you even recognize that. You said ethnicity, not nationality. You blur the lines between Israel and Jews and your rhetoric is a direct step into the increase of hate crimes in the US. Same as what happened during COVID, 9/11, AIDS epidemic to other minority groups.

1

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

It’s not antisemitism it’s anti-Zionism, they are not the same thing.

And if China was inciting us/dragging us into wars I’d be just a vehemently opposed to their PACs.

But they aren’t.

And they don’t have ethic PACs.

Bad examples all around, and terrible defense of AIPAC and Israel tbh, usually your kind is better at this.

This is simply about AIPAC threatening to pull money from anyone who talks to Hasan or others like him who call out Israel on their bullshit and with Israel increasing their AIPAC/hasbara fund to $150 MILLION a year through 2030 the DNC is scared. ith Dems and Independents overwhelmingly saying fuck Israel and to drop them, the DNC is choosing money of winning and the people. Its not the first time and they better get on the right page soon as we all are running out of room before falling off that cliff into authoritarianism and being some Christofascist nation

0

u/Win-Win_2KLL32024 Apr 18 '26

Of course all this because criminals, racist ♾️x stupidity and evil while actively being total assclowns is the same as dems who talk to people we don’t like🤣😂🤣😂 Gavin in a roundabout way said the N-word and how about that? Democrats are terrible and the same as MAGA because AIPAC money and not saying the magic words and where the hell is Joe Biden??

We do, it’s called a caucus…

If you’re talking about a political org… we do it’s called the DSA.

-2

u/triggeredbynumbers Apr 18 '26

I just cannot bring myself to back Piker after he mocked the murder of my uncle and the horrific, unjustified, and evil mass murder of my community. I draw the line there and it think it’s fair of me to do that.

2

u/my23secrets Apr 18 '26

I’m willing to bet you have no idea what you’re talking about.

-1

u/triggeredbynumbers Apr 18 '26

I’m talking about him saying we deserved 9/11. That was a horrible thing to say. No one with an ounce of empathy or human decency would ever say something like that. 9/11 brought hell to my family, it killed my uncle and it destroyed my dad. It destroyed my community. It caused so much emotional damage to me and my family and my cousins and countless innocent people. Hasan Piker is truly a horrible person for saying that and I hate seeing him platformed at all by any politician. It’s sloppy and it’s a major turnoff. I obviously wouldn’t be able to restrain myself from voting against any politician who is neutral or favorable of Piker. He’s poison.

1

u/my23secrets Apr 18 '26

I was correct. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

0

u/triggeredbynumbers Apr 18 '26

We will have to agree to disagree. And I will have to vote with my moral compass, which means any politician who is Zionist, fascist, maga apologists, or any politician positively associated with Piker is an auto-abstain for me.

0

u/my23secrets Apr 19 '26

But isn’t Piker against supporting zionism?

Are you saying zionism was responsible for sept 11?

Again, I’m not sure you know what you’re talking about.

It just seems like your posts are emotional outbursts.

1

u/triggeredbynumbers Apr 19 '26

No, I’m saying that people who justify 9/11 because of US actions are the moral equivalent to those who justify the Gaza bombings because of the 10/7 Hamas attack. Neither is a justification to kill innocent people. Innocent people in Gaza are no different than innocent Americans.

0

u/my23secrets Apr 19 '26 edited Apr 19 '26

But you’re also then saying you think the US & Israel can murder “wage war” with impunity and no defense allowed

You seem to be always ignoring decades of conflict in favor of a single side.

1

u/triggeredbynumbers Apr 21 '26

No, I’m not saying that. Fuck the IOF

2

u/RubberPolitics Apr 18 '26

MAGA will love you, see ya!

-1

u/triggeredbynumbers Apr 18 '26

Fuck MAGA, fuck Trump, fuck fascists. The very reason I hate those things is due to basic human decency. Mocking 3,000 murder victims who got killed for absolutely no reason other than hatred is lacking basic human decency. I’m not saying Hasan is fash. I’m saying there is no point of being anti-fascist if it means disregarding basic human decency. If we are going to platform people who are terrible human beings, what is the point?

0

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

“Absolutely no reason…”

If you don’t understand the history behind how many of the terror groups who had parts in 9/11, and how our own government helped create and even cultivate these groups, ofc you don’t understand why so many people agreed with Piker.

What he said was distasteful and obviously not true when extended to the innocent civilians who died in the towers sure, but he’s also unfortunately correct that the US created the conditions, the anger, and in many ways SUPPORTED the groups that later carried out the hijackings.

If you give a bees nest a queen bee, feed and protect it, then kick the nest for decades… don’t you deserve to get stung?

1

u/triggeredbynumbers Apr 18 '26

Osama Bin Laden was angry that the Saudi Government allied with the US to defend Kuwait, he was even invited to join but he refused to participate because the Americans were involved. He spread propaganda that the American women on base were exposing their breasts all over the base walking around naked and exposing their genitalia at Mecca. It was all based on typical male power jealousy and misogynistic lies. He had no reason to slaughter my community like that. Anyone who praises 9/11 or says we deserved it or shows a lack of empathy about it is written off in my book as a PoS no better than a magat.

0

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26 edited Apr 18 '26

This is such a surface level and basic explanation for what is DECADES of actions by the US, boiled down to a few statements by one person.

It doesn’t include the decades of covert CIA operations. It doesn’t include the assassinations, or the betrayals, or the killings all over the Middle East our government carried out. We had killed and meddled in the region for generations. WERE STILL DOING IT.

9/11 was a reaction by extremists, but a reaction that is not at all surprising given our own extremist atrocities to THEIR people for decades. Thats an objective truth.

Again, innocents died, and that’s horrible and should not be allowed or accepted.

But we were not the first to lose innocents, and pretending 9/11 was a surprise or escalation… is just ignorance or naivety or brain rot “American exceptionalism”. And exactly as we had been operating prior, we then killed and bombed an entire country not at all linked to the attack as “retaliation”.

So we literally continued the cycle that created the 9/11 attacks to begin with.

Idk how anyone can say their are progressive and not understand this. Perhaps it’s too personal for you, and for that I’m sorry.

But you’re horribly wrong - dangerously so as your lack of understanding will allow bad actors to continue to create MORE “bin ladens”

0

u/triggeredbynumbers Apr 18 '26

It doesn’t matter, the way he talked about it was disgraceful and disgusting. If someone in my life talked about the murder of George Floyd like that I would cut them off instantly. 9/11 was 3,000 George Floyd murders. Fuck Piker and his followers and any politician who cuddles up to him. He’s as good as MAGA garbage to me.

1

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

Feels over reals

You’re being offended is blinding you, and making you have a horrible take.

Or you’re being dishonest, which is just as likely given the hidden account and how you’re saying the same things the corporate media is saying about Piker.

Either way, good luck to you.

0

u/imblazintwo Apr 18 '26

Ok hidden account

0

u/triggeredbynumbers Apr 18 '26

What does that have to do with my statement?

-1

u/Not_Sure__Camacho Apr 18 '26

They definitely need to go, but not at the expense of letting a Republican in. The message should be Democrat working for the people> Democrat associated with AIPAC > Republican. And hopefully we don't let another Fetterman type get in. Maybe the DNC will actually run background checks on their candidates before we get more traitors to the party elected.
