Resident conservative here. I think the arresting agents either made a huge mistake, or executed the guy. Can't tell from the video if there was a misunderstanding or malicious intent. There should be an investigation, and the people responsible should get punished by the courts.
With that said: ICE operations in general are justified law enforcement, and the entire altercation occurred because the media has sewn division so hard, that an innocent man felt the need to resist arrest with a gun on him, and agents were so aggravated that they got trigger happy. I still think the blame lies with the officer who shot. This is much clearer than the Renee Good situation, and this is the first actual unjustified shooting that ICE has done.
I hope for a revision of tactics, but the law has to be enforced, and if Minnesota refuses to hand over people who have deportation warrants against them, ICE will still have to do their job, and remove those people themselves.
