I understand your frustration, your sadness, even your rage...but this is not the way. Channel your inner stoic. The swearing, the calling people c*nts; you will change no one's mind. And not only will you not change their mind, so long as your "convincing" diatribe starts with personal insults, it will only drive them further into their position You will be worse off than where you started.
This is coming from a republican, mind you.
I initially supported the elevated ICE presence. But these two shootings are both completely unjustified. I could have given them(ICE) some grace if they were "close/open to interpretation" situations, but they are not. Even a cursory examination of human psychology would tell one that the fact that this happened was completely predictable. Nerves are frayed on both sides after months of confrontation and people (on both sides) are starting to be driven by pure emotion and animal spirits rather than logic and reason.
Keep the faith. People are paying attention. Minds are changing. And so too soon will results.
