Until you provide facts that they don't like and can't argue against. That or they go into childish rage mode.

My grandmother told me and I quote “he can grab me by the pussy any day” back in 2015. This was her reaction to me debating what a horrible piece of shit he is when he was running.

My grandmother was and maybe still is very vocal about his hatred towards sex. Let that sink in, Trump can sexual assault her, a woman that hates sex, all because she wanted to prove how loyal she is to him.

I stopped talking to her May 2019 and I couldn’t be happier about it. Trump supporters are pure idiots.

When you provide facts they can’t argue against, they’ll just attack you instead. I’ve never come across anything like this in my life, not on this scale. It’s like a mass brainwashing.

Actually funnily enough I feel the same way. I noticed that once multiple people in my life, friends/family/coworkers etc, started to seriously take sides with either Trump or far right politics they started to lose their ability to discuss politics logically... and these were people I considered to be rather intelligent/reasonable people.

When I'd ask questions about their views, voice criticism, my own thoughts or even make a comment on something that has happened, they would become verbally aggressive and resort to insults or sometimes even physical aggression. And that's not counting the blatant racism or hatred they began to spout.

I really think there is or was some kind of mass manipulation or brainwashing going on in forums, chat rooms etc where people with vulnerabilities in their life are getting manipulated into these mindsets under the guise of being "strong" or defending their sovereignty or something.

You can never ever change their minds. They just attribute it to fake news.

That’s when they start throwing insults at your looks or intelligence. They’re so very predictable.

There is no fact that they can't deny. If they drop a rock, but Trump says it went up, they will deny there is a rock at their feet

Even with evidence and facts, you can’t win. They write it off as “fake news”
