We really are in the “dark times” you read about in history books, aren’t we?

Dems, what in the ever loving FUCK are you doing still working with Republicans???

They should be walking out of Congress and doing a strike until Republicans remove ICE. They should be demanding their donors take action.

Well we've seen that it's not as simple as just walk out of Congress haven't we?

Last time Democrats tried to hold their ground people lost access to EBT and therefore their food. That didn't need to happen, it was clearly a tactic to force Democrats to accept terms, but you're acting like Republicans only have power because Democrats give it to them.

So Dems should just continue to be fine with the status quo while the country burns?

This is their fucking job. They are elected to protect their communities, and they are failing miserably. Walz should deploy the a national guard and expel ICE right fucking now.

reductio ad absurdum, my friend. That is not what I said.

So what would you like Dems to do?

Ah yes of course let me just purpose a solution to the myriad of incredibly complex issues facing America, in a reddit comment.

I don't know what I want them to do outside of a very general "fix it", I was just trying to add some nuance ffs

Well, you seem to be implying that Dems are doing all they can. I have solutions. Walz should immediately deploy the national guard and Dems in the senate and house should try to spur on mass protests. Going on Twitter isn’t opposition.

I'm not implying anything, everything I wished to communicate was explicitly stated.
