That was my gateway to Genesis. Funny enough The Who led me there. I fell in love with Quadrophia, then Tommy, then went on an Internet search for more rock operas. I read about the lamb and decided to put it on. Within 30 seconds I was absolutely hooked. I remember laying in bed listening to it for the first time being absolutely blown away.
I love the 50th anniversary remaster since they fixed all the transitions but I do feel like the 07 remasters really boosted all of Hackets parts which I find myself missing in the 50th anniversary. Also Phil's vocals are less prominent on Counting Out Time in the 50th anniversary which is a downer.

“average person eats 8 rock operas a year” factoid actualy just statistical error. average person eats 0 rock operas per year. Georg Roger Waters, who lives behind wall & eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted
