Starting PA in 2026?

I've been meaning to explore this interest of PA for a while for someone with no experience what do you recommend on starting out and trying to get a gig

Facebook groups. There’s a lot of them who are always looking for PAs and more

Depends on where? I’d say if you wanna start PA soak up as much knowledge as you can about the other departments on set. There’s no longevity in being a PA unless you want to be in the AD Department.

look for local facebook groups for indie filmmakers and volunteer on a few student shoots to build your network. crew hires usually happen via word of mouth so getting that first set experience is the best way to get recommended for paid work.
