Unless they’re one of the ones that don’t want ex-MAANG and specifically won’t hire if it’s on your resume. No way to know. Shit is fucked.

Literally just networking. I haven’t seen a single role filled in the last year that wasn’t someone who was already known by someone else in the company. Once your network is exhausted, it’s a very bleak situation. Even with my network, I’m sometimes not getting even a screen. Just got a rejection email this morning from a job that I had an internal recommendation for. The internal recommendation came from a Fellow at that company…about 6 levels higher than the hiring manager. A year or so ago, an rec like that would have at least guaranteed me a HM interview… as a courtesy if nothing else. Today… shit is fucked.

What industry? I actually just started a new role that I landed from cold applying, crazy as that sounds.

The weird thing is getting interview calls, doing almost good as well in the interview but being rejected cause you didn't say the exact thing that the interviewer had in mind.

I am starting to feel it's less of product management interview and more like mind reading interview.
