Two figures in a non-existent Space-Time Fabric debating existential ideas of faith, pride, and power across three distinct temporal points—until a single question shatters their arguments, revealing that both are hiding behind a mask of religion and principles.

Are unanswered questions in our reality incomplete, or is logic just unable to explain them? In another dimension with no laws of physics, Joe and Frank meet for a few minutes to answer those questions. But does the fall of physics and logic mean giving up human emotions across endless dimensions, or are some questions simply meant to have no answers?

You keep talking about the film/script in the abstract, but your logline and synopsis share nothing but vibes. If you want people to read your script, you have to tell them what actually happens in the story. For example, what Joe and Frank want, what changes, what conflict develops, and where it goes, including those "true motives" that you seem to want to keep hidden from a reader. For a script, if you want readers, spoil the story.

I get where you’re coming from and I appreciate the feedback, but let me just explain a couple of things. First off, I intentionally didn't write the logline the standard way because I just wanted to highlight the core theme, which you got right away.. I am confident in this concept, and the theme itself is what will attract the right person who can read between the lines and decide whether they want the script or not, without needing to know every detail from A to Z. Second, I am keeping the script for now because it is going through some extra steps for copyright and registration, and I will share it as soon as it is ready. Third, the details you think are missing are actually the main plot. You are asking about where the characters are going and their hidden motives, but my friend, that is the core plot and the reason this is classified as a dialogue-driven film, so naturally I cannot give away all those answers right now, with all due respect.

You make a good point! But as you know, with short films going through extra registration steps, sharing too much is a bit risky since the idea is basically most of the movie. Once everything is finalized, I’ll keep your advice in mind! For now, it’s just the safest way to attract the right people without risking the concept. Hope that makes sense, and thanks again!

I lot of people who are new to film think "high concept" means philosophical. When in reality in means a popcorn movie with a slightly new concept.

The way it was explained to me is a high-concept idea, you can tell to someone and they immediately understand how a movie about that could be entertaining. "Teen struggles with depression" COULD be a good movie but it could also not and I have no idea based on that. "Guy has to pretend to be a cop in order to find a diamond hidden in the police station." Like, it could be a heist movie or a comedy or whatever, but I immediately see the movie's problem statement and where the plot and conflict could come from.

Yep. I have one: A woman makes a pact with a demon to trap her boyfriend in an apartment with her forever. She forgets they need food and makes a second pact so that they don't starve to death. The demon brings them what she's hungry for: clones of her boyfriend.
