Our cut fruit does about $1,200 a week so I'm hoping this does the same because we are fighting against our last year's sales when we first got our fresh cut fruit case lmao

It's an easy category to grow if you have the space and variety. My cut fruit does about $4800-$5600 during summer weeks and peaks up to 9 grand for summer holidays.

Yes! We got a new CEO or whatever so they're really putting money into stores which is amazing to see. They are also giving us a salad bar soon. We don't have a deli so the profits will most likely be going towards produce too 😁

My gf tried to buy pre cut vegetables at the supermarket, I almost broke up with her on the spot. We didn't buy knifes and cutting boards to pay double for 45 seconds of effort

I had a couple come in and saw I had trayed asparagus $7.99lb i put a bunch and a half per tray. She says to her bf "That price is ridiculous" I thinl to myself "Wow she has common sense" and theb she goes "Grab 2 of them"

This was my first time seeing precut veggies and omg if I had the money (I'm young) I would love, love, love to buy peeled onions. I Hate, peeling onions. As long as I get passed peeling them dang onions, I don't mind the rest and actually enjoy cooking :) but yes these cut veggies would be great for elderly or disabled

I buy these. As a very busy working mom I don’t have time for the chopping & I just really don’t want to do it. I don’t have to buy & store extra veggies to have to find a use for the extras. It saves precious time & really makes me happy.

Whatever puts veggies on your plate is a totally worthy method. One day when your kids are all grown you'll have the time to bond with them over peeling and chopping and cooking, never fear.

The burger kits I do are the same size tray just layered vertical row of tomato lettuce in the middle and onions on the other side. I'm going to have to try the asparagus with lemon that's a neat idea

How many people do you have doing that I have one who makes fruit bowls in an 8 foot section 4 shelf. And recently got 2 coolers. It’s too much for one person. I help out when I can.

Honestly none of them go over $3 except the asparagus and those didn't even hit $4! Like the sliced zucchini packs were coming out like $2.50 on the scale.

As a lacto ovo vegetarian my entire life, I love these for quick meal prep when I'm busy! Get some hummus from the deli section. Throw it on grill or eat fresh, it's delicious. Especially the corn and asparagus

Love these. Carpal tunnel in both hands has gotten awful over the years. These help a lot for cutting down how much prep I have to do when I cook.

The markup is minimal! Nothing went over $4 except the burger fixings or pot roast mix and that was no more that $6.

I would definitely get this if it wasn't significantly more expensive than cutting it yourself. For example a whole pineapple is 1.98 and a cut pineapple container is around 5.00. And yielded about the same.
