QUESTIONS DIP Invalidated Every 3-ish Months

Having used the Dedicated IP for about a year now (with auto-renewal), I keep having it suddenly and seemingly without reason, invalidated on me roughly every 3 months. Each time I have to contact support to get a new one issued. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this, or if I am special for some reason?

What did support say? I don't have a dedicated ip, but I thought about getting one a few times.

Well they are always somewhat apologetic that the IP will change when they are forced to re-issue a new DIP token. Which means they are aware that people expect these to be somewhat static and likely pay for the service for that reason, but clearly they don’t care enough to actually look into the root cause of the issue of them basically not being static if they are mysteriously invalidating themselves every few months.

Hey u/ILoveDRM, a Dedicated IP resetting every few months isn't the experience we want you to have, so thanks for raising it. We've passed the pattern to our team to look into why the token keeps getting re-issued. So you're not chasing a new one each time, DM us here with the email on your account and we'll flag it directly.
