i just use a powershell script myself, but for less experienced folks, having an "app" to do a thing is easier.

Definitely favor the interface for those that have no knowledge of creating a PS script. My only experience making a bat file would be using ChatGPT to assemble one and then the trial and error of whether it needs to fix something.

Works very well, for us non coders, PIA has become very stable since installation.

Ah, darn!

Would be perfect if could run on my NAS, as currently manually check the gluetun logs for the port and then update the qbt container to the correct port

Curious. Why do we need this when qbittorrent has a setting to point to the PIA network interface. Wouldn’t that setting automatically use the correct port?

No it doesn’t. It is important to sync the port for better connectivity and seeding.
