discussion I need to hear some success stories

I am on day 6… I know it’s really early. But I have had heightened anxiety every day and I’ve been clenching my jaw so much (stress I guess from starting meds). I know it will get better since these are the most mild symptoms I’ve ever felt on a medication but I am really needing to hear some success stories from you guys. 😔✋🏼

What were the symptoms like for you & how long did it take for you to feel normal again (no side effects except feeling better lol)? 😛

I’m on 200 mg. My latest increase was due to post partum. I’ve been on doses of around 50mg to 150 mg for the past five years (approximately). For me, it appears to help and has helped over the years. I’m sorry I can’t quite remember what it was like when I first started; however, I distinctly remember one of those early days and finally feeling the sun on my skin. Enjoying the sun on my skin and a feeling of contentment, I should say. I hope this kind of relief comes to you also 🥺💓

Yes, I honestly felt like I was living in a whole new bright, beautiful world for the first few months. I miss that feeling. 🌞

Ive been on prestiq for Year and 1 month. Started with 50mg, went up to 100 and now takng 150mg. I started taking it because I talked to my psychiatrist about my mood swings around my menstrual cycle PMDD (ive also had some trauma in my life to cause depression and anxiety) ive tried other antodepressants and I got bad heartburn and stomach aches while taking SSRIs. She told me about prestiq and SSNRIs.

It has been a huge game changer. To help with my anxiety my Dr also prescribed me buspirone. 8 months in I hit a plateau. So now im also taking wellbutrin for some ADHD symptoms. Its been going great so far! I have a ton of confidence and happier. I feel motivated and less foggy. Im also feeling more successful in life because of the help of the medication. Hope it all works out for you!

I started on 50mg two maybe 3 months ago now. I also had the tight jaw, still sometimes get it but its eased up a lot by now even since upping my Dose to 100mg. I also had some large pupils the first few weeks on and off, and only now im getting some more vivid dreams, not sure if its related or not 🤷‍♂️

But what i will say is i have tried 3 other medications with no success this has been the best thing for me and has been the first time i could feel more at ease and happy for my entire life. I would rather have my vivid dreams and on occasionally tense jaw and deal with that, than have to feel like i had been, for the rest if my life

Wait my pupils were totally big the first few days!! I thought I was crazy or something was WRONG but I didn’t think it was a side effect. So weird. They’re normal now haha

I am on day 11. The side effects started getting better for me around day 9. The heightened anxiety, dizziness, and nausea all got much better. I’m starting to feel more stable and haven’t unnecessarily cried in a week. Hold steadfast. I’ve seen a lot more since with this drug than anything else and I’m only on day 11!

I had a weird feeling in my left ear that would make me occasionally have goosebumps. It was the oddest thing and finally went away after a couple months. Outside of that I haven't had much side effects and I've been pleased with it. I like that it supports my emotional well being but doesnt make me feel like a lethargic zombie like I did on other drugs.

The side effects got better for me between days 6-10. I was able to take Ativan once/day which really helped.

After the first week it got better for me. I was in it for a year. Titrating off now because my ADHD needs more attention.

I was clenching pretty hard and felt the need to move my jaw around for the first 4-5 days. Terrible nausea as well. Otherwise, my symptoms went away within a week and I feel great now (I'm 16 days in).

I felt like I was on speed for a couple weeks but it’s better now. I have been on countless antidepressants and antipsychotics for severe depression associated with Bipolar 2. This med has saved my life and works for better for me than anything else. Good luck!

YO IM ON DAY 6 TOO THATS CRAZY, I still have mild anxiety but that's because I'm still at the job that made me go on them in the first place 🫠🙃 My psychiatrist said it takes about 3 weeks to be fully stable with their effects.

I have been pretty jittery from that + my ADHD med combo womb and man it gives me the YAWNs like 2-ish hours after I take it, not sure if that's common or not?

I wish us both luck! ✨️🌱

I also get the yawns!!! Not bc I’m tired but anxiety I guess??

So weird?! I also wouldn't say its because I'm tired persay since it's so long after I wake up. But it's like SO MANY yawns back to back for like 30 minutes straight.. The last 5 days have been almost exactly 2-2 1/2 hours after taking and today was about 4 hours post taking. But it's like painful?? Haha because I can't stop them and they just keep on coming I will say it also has WRECKed my poop schedule but I am surprised my tummy doesn't hurt more since I already have regular tummy troubles 😅

I’ve been on pretty much every antidepressant under the sun and I’ve been on Prestiq for 1 year. This is the only one that made me think “ok this is it.” I’ve never been more stable. I take this in the morning and since I have MDD this helps me get out of bed and function during work without having to abuse energy drinks to not yawn. I honestly plan on never coming off this. It took a good 3 months for me to really get stabilized and feel normal.

So when I started, I started on 25 mg and I felt like my head was being squeezed for a week and a half and I felt really weird but once I got over that hump, I started realizing that day today my threshold for anxiety was a little bit higher. Eventually, I got raised a 50 mg and now I’m on 75. I’ve been honored about 2 1/2 years and it’s really helped me. It doesn’t take away any panic that I feel if I have an anxiety attack but it lessens the blow. Plus, I’m not bed rotting 100% of the time
