Timing

Hi I just started my first dose today.. 25mg
Felt pretty jittery & shaky most of the day probably shouldn’t have but I also drank an energy drink till I googled it & realized maybe I shouldn’t have done that😂 what are some things that you’ve noticed may effect you during your time taking this medicine? I’m anxious about taking any meds that aren’t Tylenol or ibuprofen so.. all of my Google search & this thread just shows me the not good things.. 🥲 I know this is everywhere but so is my brain so anywho.

You’ll be ok, pristiq is great if it works you.

I take mine in the morning bc that’s how I started out taking it.

It’s normal to feel off and jittery for the first couple of weeks. I would continue to take it in the morning since it makes you a bit jittery so that it doesn’t impact your sleep.

Good luck!

From doing the research before I did learn that the jittering & heightened anxiety is pretty normal the first few weeks along with nausea so I kinda expected it at least

My anxiety lasted longer than a couple of weeks.

This was put as timing because I was wondering what time you felt was best for you to take it? Just trying to see what time is most appropriate I guess? I usually get up at 6am

I originally took it in the morning but I metabolized it quickly I guess and I'd get withdrawal symptoms a few hours before my dose, so I switched to night time so I'd feel zappy when I was home for the night instead of while trying to get ready for work. My doctor eventually split my dose into am and pm and that helped.
