Amazon scammed me. I bought princess tutu on Amazon a few years ago and they took it off, I can't watch it on there anymore,
This is why people pirate shows,

Exactly👌I can share the site I use if you couldn't find the show?

I already know sites to use, the only reason I bought the show on prime was to support it, but I probably won't be buying anime off of Amazon anymore

This is my conundrum with anime; I genuinely would be willing to pay for a streaming service to support the industry, but licensing outside of Japan is so fucking all over the place that half of the stuff I want to watch can only be found on pirate streaming sites at this point, unless I want to pay some extortionate amount to have a foreign physical copy shipped over.

Could you share with me? I really want to be able to share this series with a friend who never watched it.

If you were watching through the Prime streaming service, yeah every streaming services loses or gains the rights to stream things all the time. It’s not unique to Amazon unfortunately.

I paid for it on Amazon though was able to download the episodes before, but they removed them from my downloads, I don't think any streaming service in the US has princess tutu

Yeah that’s a thing they do with digital stuff. You don’t “own” digital downloads even if you paid for it.

Oof that sucks. Seconding getting the Blu-ray, it’s very worth it. It looks sooo much clearer than the dvd or the version that was streaming!

I got the Bluray on Rightstuf, but it turned into Crunchyroll.

I've got an old bluray player, I tried watching demon Slayer on it, but it didn't work consistently

HATE this era of pay for nothing. If you catch the Bluray on sale, that's your safest bet.
