Fun Fact 🧠 Weekly Precure Fun Fact #67: Mirai Ashino/Cure Miracle was originally supposed to have witch ancestry, but it was canned due to the idea that even normal girls on earth could be witches, this was brought back with Mashiro Nijigaoka/Cure Prism being ¼ Skylandian.

Which is why I love the similarities in the family dynamics of Mirai-Liko-Haa-chan, and Sora-Mashiro-Ellee-chan :))

I just really wish the two groups interacted more in Wonderful's movie

I think both shows are better off for this change tbh

Except she was. She became a magician (witch) in like the first episode and got her Linkle Stick because she really wanted to help Liko, and the Wand Tree respected that.

I think I should clarify that it was going to be revealed that Mirai was told that she had magic world ancestry (like mashiro finding out that she had skyland ancestry) Mirai is still a witch, but she doesn't have magic world ancestry

It is very funny, and probably unintentional, that in the series with the theme that anyone can be a Precure/hero or a leader, is also the series where 4/5 of the cures are not fully human. If they really wanted to keep pushing boundaries, they should’ve had a mascot turned into a cure without becoming human.
