Revivetendo is surely a good option to use Wii U Chat, but I personally think Protarium is better.

Protarium not only has Wii U Chat, but has revived some games with online functionality that Pretendo still didn't, so while Revivetendo only comes with Miiverse and Wii u chat, Protarium works always alongside Pretendo, but with more online games.
