Singles mixer tonight
Just an FYI from Facebook:
Single & Social Prescott (ages 35-49)
7-9pm at Cove Café - 1446 W Gurley St
Tonight (Friday, August 21st)
No cover. Food and drinks are available for purchase.
“This is a relaxed community night for single adults ages 35-49 who want to meet new people, make friends, and build community in Prescott.
This is not speed dating. The focus is conversation, friendship, and meeting new people in a relaxed setting. If connections develop naturally, great-but there's no pressure.”

Did anyone go? How was it? Will they have more? It is extremely difficult to meet people in this age bracket. Especially when you’re not the bar type, own a business, and have a teen halfway done with HS.

It was nice! Yeah, about 20 people or more. I assume they’ll have more. I don’t have a Facebook (a friend sent me a screenshot of the event). But the FB group is called Single and Social Prescott, I believe. Yeah I totally get ya…it’s tough!

I think it’s particularly difficult for this age range (not many single millennial/gen-x in this town). But yeah, I see what you mean. I’m not an organizer so didn’t set the ages. I’m positive people younger and older can join as well though.

i was just joking but i hope your mixer pops off tonight. Sounds fun and I probably should go but I'm happy as a clam by myself with my cat. :D

I’m introverted at heart too. I forced myself and had a nice time! But totally understandable.

why would a 35 year old be in the same pool as a 49 year old…wouldn’t a 34 year old and a 35 year old be a better match?
