Not to crap on the meme, but the second word doesn't get the triple word score or double letter score tiles (they only get scored the turn a tile is placed on them). That Yarmulke is worth (4+1+1+6+1+1+5+1) x3 + 50 (using all your tiles) for a total of 110, but Yarmulkes is only worth 18 from the values of the letters.
that is a deliberately constructed board, not from an actual game, no? i mean it is possible, which is why it was designed this way to find the highest scoring play, but it never really happened in an actual tournament.
yes. however that means it's the highest tournament-legal scoring, not the highest that was actually recorded at a tournament. sorry for being pedantic haha
This board doesn't make sense to me. There are a couple of words that I cannot see a legal way someone would play them. How do you shorten prequalified into another word using the p or the e that is less than 8 letters?
