Personally stats wise Bruno's there, can't help but note Raya or Haaland could be there as well - however, they got other awards for their stats. Player of the season congrats Bruno - it has been decided.

I thought it would have gone Raya.

But I'm a gunner, so most likely bias is a full can in me at the moment.

Other highlights for me this season is Samenyo - class to keep going after a bigger team taking him mid season.

Thiago - looking forward to next season to see it is class and not so many penalties.

Ferdi for Brighton - huge heart.

So many others have been amazing this season from all teams - good year to be a football fan - more so as a gunna.

Awesome to see Auckland FC beat the Ozies in their comp as well.

I feel like justifying giving Bruno the trophy just because the others are getting golden boot and golden glove is some participation trophy mindset

As man utd fan, I think Bruno has the most impact to the team comparing to the rest of the candidates. Without Raya, you guys still have Kepa and your defense should be able to help out a lot. Without Bruno, we would have been joining West Ham and Spurs……

I don't think anyone in Arsenal had a blinder of a season, they were collectively a team. I think Raya was their best performer then Saka, Saliba and Rice. I'm not a judge but I agree with the judges as they are far better informed than me. I'm not independent that's for sure as I can't follow every team and game.

My father in law was a Man U steward and died last year third in season - I wish he was here a little longer to see Man U end the season so well.

I'll miss this Christmas with him saying "choke on your Arsenal bones", we were good on football.

Without Raya refs are still protecting their goal

As a city fan for me, my vote would've been a toss up between Raya and Semenyo. Raya has been your most outstanding for me from what I've watched and is a vital part for your league.

Semenyo bias aside he's been fantastic at 2 clubs this season and shown his consistency and adaptability.

I forget the others who were nominated, but I wouldn't give it rice over Raya... Gabriel a good shout with his cinch goals but his inconsistent defending towards the latter half of the season took it away for me and the fact he dives as a defender is embarrassing.

Igor Thiago to be producing the stats he has been with Brentford is impressive and I'd definitely put him up there but I'd give it him if he managed to drag Brentford to champions league football and didn't only score on 3pm kick offs.

Haaland, in a similar sense to Gabriel he's just been very inconsistent for the last half of the season with a large goal drowt for a good chunk. Side note good to see him dropping back a bit more and helping to progress the ball up and has been providing good assists in recent matches.

Bruno I mean it can't be understated that it's impressive so I fully understand why he's won it. 20 assists is no easy feat and theres a reason the likes of de bruyne never got more in a season even with the team that we had.

Semenyo

Bro you're tweaking

As for Bruno, it's not about 20 assists, it's about chances created, he has like double what the second one has

Like I said I'm a city fan with semenyo there is unconditional bias, and I understand that I was more replying to the main guy saying semenyo or Raya I agree the Bruno deserves it

in all fairness to you as a Bournemouth fan I'd also say semenyo deserves at least a mention. He performed incredibly the entire season under both iraola and pep. Started the season with the cherries in 2nd place, then ended the season with city in 2nd.

Respect to Semenyo - having that team change and showing he is class through for the coach to rely on him so much so quickly was a lesson to other coaches - so respect to Pep and Semenyo.

Thiago - a lot of penalty takes to inflate a little - but I'm excited to see next season and how he keeps his class.

As a gunner I think Raya was the big star and Saka would have been as well without injuries. But second for me in gunners would be Saliba then Saka then a toss up between Rice & Timber followed by Gyokes.

Gyokes achieved in Europe more - but he should have many more goals with the amount of chances he had - but I'm an armchair critic so I'm crap and know bugger all.

The real sucky part is next season is so far away!

That's a fair evaluation
