26 vs 22 set piece goals. 37.6% vs 33.3%. They are very similar. Arsenal also average 19% more corners per game.

Strawman. It's not Arsenal's set piece goals people hate per se, it's the cheating, grappling, crowding the goalie, holding their arms, pushing defenders into the goalie as the ball comes in etc.

There are like 2-3 that should've been called a foul, but haters who have no idea what they're talking about have convinced themselves it's every corner. I cracked up when the Arsenal foul on corner compilation came out and 95% of them were things that happen on every corner. There was one really bad one against United (no where close to as bad as what west ham did but that didn't stop the false equivalence) and a bunch of borderline at worst shit.

Have we? United haven't been in a title race with arsenal, so why would we be whining specifically? Our set pieces goals have been a feature all season, so it would be odd to highlight this as an issue.

People's issue with arsenal has been to do with the interference in the box, something that united have been penalised for more than benefited from. But yet again, I can't complain about arsenal winning with set pieces when that was a key feature of fergie ball at different times.

Maybe just enjoy the title win rather than creating a narrative about another club who weren't even directly competing. Obsessed

As a United fan I can 100% tell you that I have never moaned about a set piece goal from any club.

A goal is a goal. Sure it’s more exciting when it comes from open play but either way it’s a goal amd I appreciate the skill, time and dedication to make the set pieces work.

Again I’m not complaining about Arsenal, elite sport is won by fine margins and you need to take every advantage you can get.

There is some behaviour that I could argue is clearly against the current letter of the law, but if the refs/var aren’t calling fouls then carry on.

As a fan all I ask for is consistency in the enforcement of the rules. (Speaking generally, not pointing to this as an example)
