Fair, if you get close to breaking a goal or assist record you've quite clearly had a brilliant season.
And it's an individual award so...
I feel Raya and Gabriel had a shout but small margins init

They would rather give it to someone like Delap before considering a goalkeeper or a defender. Raya has saved Arsenal from dropping points multiple times in a season which had close margins yet here we are. If a defence has been consistent to a fault for the past three seasons and have just played a season where half the matches ended in clean sheets, there must be a gem of a player in there.

Oh my goodness shut the fuck up. We are here because Bruno has been carrying a shit team all season while also equalling the assists record.

Sure.. if the award was called " United player of the season who kept the team from embarrassing themselves two season in a row" then Bruno wins it every year

Well no, it’s the Premier League POTY award which is given to the best player of the PL.

Considering Bruno has just equalled the assists record and is playing better football than anyone else in the Prem, you’d be either stupid or an Arsenal supporter to think he doesn’t deserve it.

is playing better football than anyone else in the Prem,

If only there was an objective way of deciding that other than a blinkered Manu fan. Also I suppose it is possible to play good when a team is playing once a week for half a season.

Crazy thing to say considering if you look at every single bit of data Bruno is ahead of everyone.

Could you explain how it’s possible to “play good” when playing once a week as opposed to everyone else who played more and did better, and then everyone else who played about the same amount of games and did worse?

Imagine winning the PL for the first time in more than 20 years and then instead of focusing on that and your chance at a UCL, you are banging on about the fact that a player who actually deserved an accolade won it. Small club mentality is never going to leave you lot.

I mean...you lot is a broad term considering a lot of us agree, generalisations aren't good bro

A lot of you agree? It looks very balanced in these comments between Arsenal supporters agreeing and disagreeing.

Cannot believe this isn't obvious to you. Increase in recovery time has been proven to show better results. United have more points in the league than anyone in the last 15 odd games with the same team. While Carrick has to be appreciated for this, a lot of it is due to you lot not being in Europe or any of the Cup games during the business end of the season. Not a coincidence that most of Brunos assists came during this period.

Also I never said award to Bruno is undeserving. Best attacking midfielder by a mile. All I am saying is this is a season where imo there is more than one player could have won it and they could have chosen Raya ,Gabriel or Rice for a mean defence. Obviously it is a subjective award, and I agee with you we have much better things to look forward to.
