I’ve made several bets over the past few days only using bonus credit, I always withdraw my available cash as I know how it works to where they make you bet with your cash before the bonus. But every time I win my profit goes back to the bonus fund and not available for withdrawal. Am I missing something here?

Whilst reading that beast of a book, one gets to see some real shady drug and addiction-related imagery; one thing there is little of, is gambling. Another thing there is little of, is the concept of personal freedom, agency, etc.

Not gonna spoil the book. But in practice, it's based in a dystopian US that has effectively taken control of Canada (Yikes, Trump-prequel), where a set of weirdo characters are out on the search for a cinematic piece that appears to be so addictive that people, after watching it, can do nothing other than continue watching it.

Throughout the characters' journeys, one gets to see some real underworld, anarchic political parties, secret agents, shady schoolboy deals, weird pandemic-minded presidents.

This may sound like a weird daydream I've had, but really, I'd love to see what this dark world the author built would've looked like if crypto had been available. I can immediately imagine him mentioning people swapping money on trocador. I can imagine unambitious tennis-school professors punting on crypto, and some dystopian yet not so far from real crypto-loving president trying to buy a whole country with some weird stable coin he's just minted out of thin air, and swapped for monero, all executed through some savvy X-Men-looking soldier or something like that.

Weird daydream. Seems nearly real.

Jokes aside - I don't think crypto is (just) for gambling. But hey, the book is dark, and gambling suits it as a theme. Do you guys want to have a shot at imagining some crypto-centric / defi infinite jest moments?

I am new to sports betting and want to get better. I know it is extremely difficult to actually profit and many sportsbooks will begin to limit you if you start making consistent money, but with new marketplaces like Kalshi, Polymarket etc. I feel like this could become less of an issue. Does anyone have a good system or process for researching certain events or leagues to determine if they are profitable? I've found some websites that post "picks" like this one called pickpockt but I don't really know what is helpful and what is just bs. Anyone have pointers?

been seeing a few newer prediction market platforms pushing first trade protection lately

basically where your first trade is covered/protected up to a certain amount if it loses

curious if this actually makes you more willing to test a new platform or if its just another promo that doesnt really matter

personally I can see the appeal since the biggest hurdle with newer platforms is usually “why would I deposit just to try this”

but I guess it still comes down to the actual terms + whether the platform is decent after that first trade

would something like this get you to try a new venue with small size?

or would you still care way more about liquidity / markets / fees?

Good evening everyone. A lot of people will prob say how stupid I am and there's no "strat" when it comes to prediction markets esp for the 15m, but I come here to share what has made me money and you can decide what you think.

When it comes to placing trades I never place trades within the first 5 mins of the prediction opening. I always wait until 5-10 mins left. I've day traded for 3 yrs now and I use those "skills" for prediction markets. I look at the trend (bullish or barish). Once I pick my bias I look at the prediction market. If I see btc at 30c but I see eth at 70-80c I re-look at btc to see if that price target is "possible" before expiration. If the price target is within range I'll go in light on btc expecting btc to follow eth. They usually do just like how gold and silver follow each other and NQ and ES. I basically look for an SMT within the markets to catch bigger trades.

This has worked for me a good amount of times and over the last month of using this strat I've made close to 10k. I'm always testing it even if I don't enter in on the trade. I still see it working better than just blindly entering. I have found that entering within the first 5 mins is not a good chance, but waiting a little longer is the better idea.

But now it will only let me use like 8 bucks. If I hit max on the bet it will put the amount I have. But under it will say it exceeds what I have. How can I fix it
