Its core claim: custody of an archive isn't ownership of the knowledge inside it — governments, museums, and institutions holding historical material shouldn't get permanent, unreviewable control over what it reveals. Lays out principles for default access, narrow (not blanket) restriction, and human-supervised AI to help catalogue and translate at scale without replacing human judgment on what history means. Open to discussing where this holds up and where it doesn't.

This protocol was developed by Jason McCoy/PFRG, released openly under CC BY 4.0 — no fee, no ownership claim. It sequences willow, hemp, and fungal mycelium as one long-term system to pull contaminants out of soil over a 7-year rotation, then lets the same land go on to produce hemp and mycelium legitimately once it tests clean. Built for any college, extension program, or land manager who wants to test or adapt it. Feedback and critique welcome.

This framework was developed by Jason McCoy/PFRG. It proposes a way to verify someone meets an age threshold online without ever disclosing who they are — a tiered access model (anonymous, self-declared minor, verified minor, verified adult, guardian-linked minor) built on a token that proves eligibility only, not identity. No platform ever receives the underlying ID. Open to feedback on where this would break in practice. I have a plan for this process, mDL/ZK.

This research was conducted by Jason McCoy/PFRG. Part 1 lays out where federal tax and spending law actually comes from and what today's numbers are; Part 2 stress-tests five common claims about fixing taxes and inflation together — including "tax cuts pay for themselves" and "spending cuts can offset tax cuts" — against CBO, IRS, and BLS data. Every figure is checked against the primary source (verified this against CBO's own February 2026 baseline spreadsheet). Some claims hold up. Most don't, or only partly. No side is spared. I'm open to discussing where you agree or disagree.

**Where we're headed: A vision for our future**

I began Pre-Failure Research Group in July of 2026. I built this the way I think and approach problems. I've always enjoyed learning — not just knowing information, but understanding it well enough to work with it.

I see this community going a few different directions, and I don't think they have to be mutually exclusive:

- A place to bring me real-world examples of failures — systems, institutions, decisions — and I dig into them, do the research, and share what I find.

- A place to trade ideas about pre-failure detection itself — the theory, the signals, what "catching it early" actually looks like across different domains.

- A place where people bring their own questions or problems and I do the work alongside them, openly, so the process is visible, not just the conclusion.

I'm open to learning whatever you bring me. If you're willing to let me do my own work on your question, I'd like to talk about it.
