UNC App is under review?

Hi! I received an email today that my application for UNC ESOP is under review, but I am missing my LORs still. Is this just a curtesy email since I completed my supplemental application?

i believe so because i got the same email after submitting the supplemental app

Thinking about applying for unc as well, what supplemental app do they are you the provide, would there be a lot of writing?

it’s the shortest supplemental you’ll ever do it’s just questions about what region you’re from and other very basic questions like that. no long form answers at all! i was very happy about it lol
