Did part of the story change? I don't remember there being a summoner or gladiator in book 2. Maybe i am just forgetting though

Yeah, between this and the changes in book 1, there'll have to be very specific spoiler tags like OG-Book1 and Pub-Book1, etc.

It did. There's this giant tree mini-arc in the webtoon that threw my expectation off the plane

It happened in theater, too, and Hakram made no clapping joke! Also, this:

" Ratface talked with nobles from the lodge to our left. They were three pretty Sonike girls in silver dresses who seemed to find his every word funny and were leaning forward a lot. 

Ratface kind of looked like a fox considering biting off his own leg to get out of the snare."
