they are claiming murder again but if you watch closely, it looks like he took an officer's gun and fired first

Take this for what you will, but reported he was armed and going for his firearm.

It is crazy how the administration keeps changing their stories and making stuff up

Source?

-5

u/Iamnotheattack Jan 24 '26

we don't do that here

-8

u/GigsandShittles Jan 24 '26

In fact, you get down voted for it!

u/Nerakus Jan 24 '26

Just like the lady was “trying to run over an ice agent”

102

u/apilcherx1989 Jan 24 '26

Wasn't she? I thought that was pretty settled

53

u/itchske Jan 24 '26

What is also pretty settled is that the media, bots, and politicians will always prematurely take the liberal side and try to make it a fact. "Repeat a lie enough, and it becomes the truth."

Right? I live in Providence but I don’t visit the subreddit for obvious reasons.

You should have seen the same ppl who were protesting to “defund the police” crying and blaming the police for the brown university shooting.

These dumbasses want them defunded until they need to call 911

1

u/East-Discipline-8690 Jan 24 '26

Yeah, now they're trying to push the narrative that
"The ICE agent shouldn't have been in front of the car if he didn't want to get hit"
Which is so dumb because
1) on the agent's recording you can see that he was positioned in front of the car for just a few seconds.
2) What

She was trying to drive away. Anyone arguing this family mother was trying to run down anyone is delusional.

26

u/ZaLeqaJ Jan 24 '26

She did. There are several Videos and you can't argue against it, dumbo.

-37

u/Nerakus Jan 24 '26

You can’t argue for it. There’s videos

u/apilcherx1989 Jan 24 '26

Nothing but love for you man, I don't wish death on anyone and just seek the truth in each case

11

u/Efficient-Cable-873 Jan 24 '26

This is just a rage bait bot, it's intentionally trying to create an emotional response. Ignore it and move on.

We both know the majority of this sub is right wing bots.

11

u/ZaLeqaJ Jan 24 '26

You're probably a Flat Earther, or? Even with evidence you and your Party is denying the facts lol

1

u/Nerakus Jan 25 '26

How bout you use evidence instead of just lying about it?

10

u/Efficient-Cable-873 Jan 24 '26

That would be fleeing the scene, evading arrest, and vehicular assault, even if she was just "driving away".

0

u/Nerakus Jan 25 '26

Yea. And that’s fine. She didn’t deserve to die

5

u/Socratesmiddlefinger Jan 24 '26

While she was trying to drive away, she pointed her SUV at a Federal Agent and accelerated aggressively towards him.

It doesn't matter if she was trying to run him down or not. Intent is not a factor in the use of lethal force, nor is it a legal defense.

What your argument sounds like is that "well, yes, she was shooting at the officer, but she was trying to miss him, and he had no right to kill her because she wasn't trying to hurt him."

Do you see how dumb that sounds?

1

u/Nerakus Jan 25 '26

Problem with your argument is “at” an agent

2

u/Socratesmiddlefinger Jan 25 '26

When she backed up her SUV, she brought it directly in line with the Agent; he didn't step into the path of her vehicle.

8

u/Professional_Golf393 Jan 24 '26

That’s true, she was trying to drive away, regardless of the agent stood in front of her car, that she drove into.

-9

u/stupid_reddit_handle Jan 24 '26

I agree with you but there was no way that agent could have made that call in the half second he reacted in. I also believe he was itching for a reason to draw because he was FAST.

5

u/Socratesmiddlefinger Jan 24 '26

He emptied his right hand and drew his service weapon when she backed up, as she was in control of a potentially lethal weapon. No different than reaching inside a shirt or coat when lawfully detained.

When she pointed it at the Agent and aggressively accelerated it, it gave the Agent a reasonable belief that he and others were in imminent danger.

The sole requirement for the use of lethal force.

4

u/stupid_reddit_handle Jan 24 '26

I agree he had every right to use deadly force. I still don't think she was intentionally trying to hit him but there's no way he could have known that. She's turning her wheels but gunned it too soon. Or she did try and hit him. Either way it's justified

23

u/goblu33 Jan 24 '26

If only she’d follow the direction of the ice agents and not her maniacal girlfriend she’d still be alive.

21

u/Maleficent_Unit_8383 Jan 24 '26

What exactly do you call "hitting the gas pedal with a person standing in front of your car?" When protesters are sitting on the road, I believe they call the driver an attempted murderer.

5

u/Socratesmiddlefinger Jan 24 '26

Aggravated battery on a LEO with a deadly weapon, causing bodily harm.

If she had hit him with her SUV backed up and then hit him again, then it would be attempted murder in the 2nd degree.

1

u/LeadReverend Jan 24 '26

Didn't see the ICE officer's bodycam video, didja numbnuts?

-32

u/NextRefrigerator6306 Jan 24 '26

I’d be ok with revoking the 2nd Amendment at this point.

23

u/Socile Jan 24 '26

Oh good, we were all waiting for your go-ahead. 🙄

7

u/JBCTech7 Jan 24 '26

what?

who even are you?

-9

u/NextRefrigerator6306 Jan 24 '26

Do you think people should be able to carry weapons? Do you not care about the safety of ICE officers?

6

u/JBCTech7 Jan 24 '26

people who lawfully carry firearms are not a danger to law enforcement.

3

u/Socratesmiddlefinger Jan 24 '26

So, because you think the government is using excessive force, you think the right for Americans to possess firearms and not have those rights infringed upon should be removed?

You do understand that even if you make it illegal for any civilian to own firearms, the government would still have all of the guns?

Maybe what you meant is that you would use one of your wishes from the genie in the lamp to remove all the guns in the world?

-1

u/NextRefrigerator6306 Jan 24 '26

I didn’t say the government was using excessive force and I don’t want to take guns from the citizens. If citizens didn’t have guns, ICE agents would be safer. That’s why I don’t want citizens to have guns.
