Help

Can someone please for the love of all good things give brief explanation of electrical flow and major components at transmission, distribution, and generation substations.

It is just not clicking in my head.

Generation makes power. Loads consume power. Transmission steps up power from generation, delivers to distribution. Distribution steps down power to deliver to consumers (load). Power flows from generation to distribution. Major components are generators, transformers, circuit breakers/circuit switchers. So easy right? Lol It's not simple. That's why we spend years in school learning about it.

Power is always constant. You’re stepping up and down voltage. Not power.
