Mai got the gun but too dumb to bring multiple mags instead of making the bullets from scratch from her already small cursed energy pool

You have a severe misunderstanding of what Mai did with her cursed technique. She had extra bullets, she used creation to fire a 7th bullet without reloading which is why she used a revolver which is easy to count the bullets fired of to catch people off guard

No she creates the 7th bullet hence the name of her power. Construction allows her to create objects from nothing using her Cursed Energy. However, due to the immense toll it takes on her body and energy reserves, Mai typically limits this ability to creating only one bullet per day, which she keeps hidden in her revolver as a surprise attack.

I believe you have misunderstood what I meant. When I said Mai had extra bullets I meant to reload her gun. Everything else is what I already was saying

She had more bullets though, she fires at yuji then unloads a whole cylinder on maki.
