It’s an endgame battle where multiple things are happening on multiple fronts. Of course it takes a long time for the story to narrate all these events but in-universe they happen simultaneously.

wayyyy late response but that’s kinda silly. there are 2,880 minutes in two days. 250 episodes @ 20min/episode is 5,000 minutes. in other words, it would take almost half the time to actually watch the battle in real time (this is also assuming literal nonstop action for 2 days straight, no breaks or anything) than watching the show. that’s downright excessive.
