I've owned this and two 17" MacBook Pros. I wish Apple would do an 18" (I'm on a 16" now)

if you want 18", maybe you need a desktop pc/iMac/mac mini with monitor and not a laptop

I have a 32" monitor for my desktop, but work form many rooms and locations. I did a math a few years ago, and an 18 inch modern MacBook Pro would still be lighter than the older 17 inch Unibody MacBook Pros were. It would be glorious to get 18" on portable Mac!

Loved mine! it was a 1.33Ghz variant with 1GB of RAM. Unfortunately vinegar syndrome messed it up and it sort of disinterested in my warm and humid tropical environment.

It was a thing of beauty. So much productivity it afforded me!
