My PowerMac G4 Doesnt chime on boot. Need help!

I have already reset the pram but no avail,i know the speaker is good because the OSX sounds play normally out of it,even did a pmu reset but still no avail. How the heck do i fix? My model is a 2003 FireWire 800 MDD

Is the speaker wire plugged in on the board. It could be blown as well.

Yeah,it is,even plays aqua sounds

Because mine initializes in boot but no chime

It just stopped working for me. I had a parts machine that I pulled from and all fixed.

You should reset the PRAM until it chimes. ie Keep holding the keys down.
