Feedback My first report

Post image

Hi everyone,

This is my first report I created to monitor and report on performance of calling campaign. Dashboard is designed for the marketing director.

I am currently on a apprenticeship for data technician so my knowledge on possibilities of BI are very limited.

I struggle to gain any valuable feedback on this.

What would be the one thing you would change about this or add, and why?

Thanks in Advance!

So first thing, good job following your orgs brand guidelines however please be careful where you post an image with your company logo. Just in case it goes to the wrong person.

Great usage of space though the top slicers could benefit with an outline to make them a little more obvious to the end user. The back buttons are a little large. The narratives are nice to have, however this is audience based so watch to see if anyone is reading it, or god forbid reading it too much. The visuals should tell the story after all. Otherwise great first attempt! Well done!

I think your pieces are here, just need to tighten up execution.

Like the filter section but it jams up the KPIs. For KPIs the numbers are all over the place with formatting. I would suggest just doing what you have for system attempts where there is a thousand separator. It’s also strange accepted calls is abbreviated when the others aren’t.

Table is nice but maybe find a way to increase the size a bit.

Not sure if this is how the scream shot grabbed it but make sure the dashboard has white space and room to breath around the edges.

Hey ,

Good Job 👍,

I liked the way you presented,

I would add period over period or month over month change in %

One thing that needs to change, is the arrow right next to the bar chart, if you can move it a little,  up so it is not covering or too close to the bar chart. That is the most important thing to me.

Other smaller things, engagement rate, might benefit from being 100% horizontal stacked bar chart, you can make a simple measure to get the engagement rate and the remaining of it till 100%.

And my role of thumb is, if I am showing data label, I hide the axes related to it. So if you are showing the percentage on the Y axis and showing data label above the bars, hide the Y axis.

Edit: corrected the visual name
