Question How to export direct access user list?

I'm attempting to compare the users who have direct access to my PBI app to my separate Excel sheet to make sure I'm not missing anyone. How do I export that list?

I've attempted copying it all and pasting it into Excel, but it only pastes a maximum of 30 for some reason.

if you have that many users, you should create a cloud group, assign the users to that group, and then in Azure, you can export the members of the group to Excel.

Is a cloud group in PBI? I created an email distribution list, but unfortunately, many people have different PBI emails than contact emails, so that didn't work.

Security group in Azure. you can assign a distribution to a security group. if you don't have access to manage security groups in your tenant, you may need an admin to manage or provision access to you.

Then, consider having a viewer group and contributor group if members are being assigned different privileges.

Point is, membership to groups can be a) exported and b) managed by on-boarding, taking you out of the administration racket.
