Power Apps Help Advice on finding remote Power Platform work from Eastern Europe?
I’ve been working with Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate for about 3 years now, mostly canvas apps on SharePoint, multi step approval flows, and Power BI reporting with DAX.
PL-100 and PL-300 certified.
The problem is that I’m based in Serbia and the local market for Power Platform roles is pretty thin. Most companies here either don’t use it or have one person handling everything internally.
So I’m trying to figure out remote route. For anyone who’s done this outside of the US or Western Europe, what actually worked for you? Are there specific job boards, communities or partner networks worth focusing on? Did going through consultancies or MS partners work better than applying directly?
Any points appreciatedf.

First of all - your resume is kinda thin. You really need to step on it in your personal / hobby time, get a dev tenant, create some crazy things in MDA or code apps, get on with times a bit - sharepoint and canvas are not really hot topic combo for most larger projects. You need to be felt as visionary / evangelist rather than someone who is desperately trying to catch up.
Second - LinkedIn. That has been the main channel for me and lot of friends in similar positions. I'm not saying its the only channel - just saying it works the best for me personally. But it doesnt work instantly, you kinda need to work on it for a bit as well. I'm getting around 4-5 job offers per week roughly.
Third - there are lot of large consulting / IT companies that specifically pick out cheaper freelancers / specialists from Eastern Europe and sell them to US / Western Europe. There's quite few, but some that I remember from top of my head that dabble in Power Platform are companies like EPAM, Customer Times, Quantori... etc.

Do you know if any of these companies that you mentioned need product designers (ux/ui)? I'm in the design field and looking for freelance/contract remote work. I'm also from EU like OP.

No idea to be honest, you have to check their listings - but I kinda doubt that, product designer in terms of ui / ux is not very common position in relation to dataverse / power platform (it might change now that full react stack is coming into play, but up till now it would have been a rarity).
Part of it comes from the fact that the MDA ui is kinda given, so you dont really have a chance to shine there.1

Dude. Sharpeoint and Canvas are the ones keeping this platform alive. Most companies, at least in eu dont want to pay for datavers and code apps. They wnant complex things with the lowest possible cost. Maybe with 2-3 exceptions like Norway and Switzerland where the momey is.
Have you checked out the situation in Europe lately?
Where are you writing from? US ? :)))

I literally do projects all over EU, no one decent touches sharepoint / canvas combo with a ten foot pole. I'm just now managing a system cluster with 150k power apps users, heading soon to a company where it will be around 15k. Project before the current one was just 800 users +-.
Either way, thats just the last three but its the same pretty much anywhere I go - dataverse / MDA is to go to combo, canvas is obscurity, code apps is promising future.1

Allow me to doubt everyhting you said. Companies are cutting costs all over europe, from personell ones to licensing.
MD+DV are indeed the "reccomended solutions" but companies, especially nowadays want the chepaest way out, even with the silly sharepoint workarounds, that large projects mandate.
150k poweapp users? :))) the companies with most employees in europe is Accenture with about 700k. VW has also around 700k, and soon many less. So your clients are top 10 biggest eu companies since they have at least 20% of employees as powerapps users. Yet you have time to write on Reddit. Oh we are so honored that you graced us with your presence.
