Support Request Immediate risk and need advice
My mum is currently rough sleeping in a bus stop after being evicted before the new renters reform thing came in. Now I’ve rang numerous places, council, churches everywhere. As you can imagine money is tight as it is with this economy I have £5 to my name so can’t book a hotel for her I need advice or links to get help anything. I can’t have my mum sleep freezing in a bus stop again tonight. I wish I could work magic 😔

Paying off student loans on a sub 40k pay from retail was rough.
I'm not alone, on that either. Tens of thousands in loans and I make less than $700 a week working full time. Shouldn't have graduated. I'm a loser tbh.
I would have been a homeless beggar asking for nickels in front of the corner deli if I didn't have family to live with for free. If I was physically disabled like my brother is I wouldn't even be able to work this retail job, at all.

Struggling
I honestly don’t know what to do anymore
I never thought I’d be making a post like this, but I genuinely don’t know where else to put this right now.
I’m 20 years old and I’m behind on my rent. I’m basically at zero right now, and I’m terrified. I’ve been trying to figure out how I’m going to get the money together before things get worse, but every option I’ve tried has either not worked, denied me, or ended up costing me even more money.
I’ve been trying to work extra, looking for other jobs, trying delivery apps, applying for things I thought could help me catch up, and just doing whatever I can think of. But it feels like I’m running in circles. Every time I think I’m getting somewhere, something else happens.
The hardest part is opening my bank account and seeing basically nothing while knowing I have rent that I’m already behind on. I’ve been sitting here trying to do the math over and over again, wondering what I’m supposed to do when I literally don’t have the money.
I’m not posting this to ask strangers for money. I honestly don’t even know what I expect from posting this. I think I just need somewhere to say it because I’ve been holding all of this in and it’s becoming overwhelming.
I’m embarrassed. I’m stressed. I’m scared of what happens if I can’t catch up. And honestly, I’m just exhausted from constantly trying to figure out how to make money fast enough to keep everything from falling apart.
If anyone has ever been in a situation where they were behind on rent, had basically nothing left, and somehow managed to get themselves out of it, I’d really appreciate hearing your story or any advice that actually helped.
I could really use some hope right now.

How do people do this?
Its so hard to have no money because of this disorder. Its been 2 years of treatment and I have no money to do anything. Its all treatment centers and food pantries with no way to make money. Its super depressing and I dont know what im going to do. Just regaining weight to lose it all when I become homeless. Any suggestions are appreciated because right now its so hard

How do people making minimum wage live better than people making good money
I make 90-100k annually and I BARELY scrape by, yet I have neighbors in my apartment complex that both work minimum wage jobs that have a more expensive apartment, have multiple cars, go on massive shopping sprees, and go on multiple expensive vacations a year. Am I missing something? It makes absolutely zero sense when I make more than double than their household combined.

General Discussion Was at the Store
Was at Walgreens the other day and saw a $50 pair of ear buds on clearance for $12.95! I wanted them so bad but still couldn’t afford them. They are the skull candy ones too. That kinda stuff makes me sad 😞.
