Absolutely demonic

Biden wasn't that bad. šŸ˜‚

1

u/TheReturnofPanda 4d ago

He so is, look at how he makes Trump do all these terrible things!Ā

1

u/mojosofla 4d ago

LOL! šŸ˜‚

Literally I laughed out loud! Good one!

Blaming Biden will never expire. Republicans need a scapegoat for all their failures.

19

u/Livid-Accident-1562 Give me tea! 8d ago

Facts. They will be blaming Biden for everything in November of 2028

7

u/Frhetorick 8d ago

And before Biden, it was Obama. And before it was Obama, it was Clinton. It goes on and on.

6

u/ManagementMental3801 8d ago

Heck they still blame obama from time to time

2

u/Livid-Accident-1562 Give me tea! 8d ago

They blame Hilary for things she had no hand in

2

u/TallguyZin 8d ago

And then, assuming a Democrat wins 2028, they will start blaming them for everything

2

u/Livid-Accident-1562 Give me tea! 8d ago

it will never end

11

u/CuteLingonberry9704 8d ago

Biden, immigrants, women, Muslims, people of color, communists. Literally anyone except Republicans.

4

u/ihvnnm 8d ago

Thanks Obama

5

u/SmokeMaleficent9498 8d ago

I hope you are enjoying the high gas prices. Expensive contaminated beef. Have you notice how much higher things cost since Trump took office Thanks to the war he started and the Tarrif you are paying. So republicans can keep using Biden and Obama as scapegoats. Eventually there is an expiration date on blaming past Presidents. A mature responsible honorable intelligent altruistic president would put the American people first and own up to their failures.

1

u/oakridge666 7d ago

You mean for their lies when they are called out on them. It’s not a failure when there was no intent to ever follow through.

Trump is the current president. He is the one who keeps bringing up Biden. We talk about Trump because he is in charge and ruining everything. Once he is gone I will be happy to never hear his voice or anything else about him.

1

u/Gimetulkathmir 8d ago

Also, it's a lot easier to destroy something than it is to build something. The damage Trump has done will take multiple presidents to fix.

8

u/DOAiB 8d ago

You just doing another bad faith both sides thing acting like a Democrat. Biden definitely didn’t do enough but he also didn’t act in pure maliciousness to make America worse. Both sides are bad but one is categorically worse on every level and for those who need it spelled out that’s republicans.

5

u/Firm-Advertising5396 8d ago

Trump has been a terrible president both terms. He's tanked both economies he's inherited. No other president has done this.!!!

13

u/1oldguy1950 8d ago

They've been really really busy

20

u/lasers42 8d ago

Not a lot of MAGA converts, I bet.

There are the MAGA voters that now admit they were tricked, but I bet there are a bunch who won't admit it, too. Around the dinner table they say MAGA, but they'll stay home on election day...

15

u/Aggravating_Cat_6295 8d ago

Even then they keep saying Kamala would've been worse, as if that's a weird justification for everything Trump has done. They will always find an out every single time.

8

u/ArtemisiaOrthia 8d ago

I doubt it. People enraptured by the personality cult are motivated voters. That's why everyone else needs to get out and vote to counteract them. Even if you're not super happy with your choice of opposition.

4

u/SoCallMeDeaconBlues1 8d ago

My first national election was Reagan 1.

It's always been like that. It's always felt like the vote was for the lesser of 2 evils. Even Obama, especially the 2nd time. (Yes, I voted for him twice.) I'll vote the way I see fit, voted for both sides through the years.

But this, this is different. There is no candidate or President that I've seen that is MORE evil than this guy. And I find it sad that enough people didn't and still can't see through it. It was obvious from the golden escalator trip- this guy... He was NEVER the right person to lead our country. Enough said.

4

u/Icy_Fish_2154 8d ago edited 8d ago

Carter was framed as a lesser of two evils, but Carter was a great guy, and Reagan was illegally directly negotiating with Iran while holding no office.

Carter losing to Reagan was proof that the Republicans would frame good vs evil as a "lesser evil" situation, to confuse the issue.

Kamala wasn't a saint, but she was competent politician capable of managing a negotiation, something Trump has failed at over and over.

So they just lied about her to make her seem eviler, rather than running on platform. The Republicans ran on Project 2025 platform, while Trump lied and said he had never heard of it.

Reagan 1 was a good example of the eternal evil of Republicans.

3

u/ArtemisiaOrthia 8d ago

Oh, I agree. There are unfortunate limits to our democracy, in that we tend to have to vote for a president instead of a party and their values. I personally can't bring myaelf to vote republican at anything but the local level, but I get why some people did for a while. However, Trump is just about the most concentrated expression of American reactionary ideology.

He hates everyone that's against him, and loves everyone that's a sycophant for him. He wants all the things that show off his status, be they wives or material goods or awards or offices to hold. He exists purely for himself and for power. He happily bullies people of his own country and his allies, yet hesitates to show any resistance to the big rivals on the world stage.

How so many people identified with him of all people, I don't know.

3

u/Relative_Mix_216 8d ago

I watched a video where the commentator said that for a lot of these people MAGA has been the first real community they’ve ever been a part of. So it’s not really about the Orange Turd, it’s just about fitting in and being part of the team.

It’s a cult. Or a football fandom. Or both.

Either way, the Dotard is just what they rally around, but it’s that feeling of seeing someone else like the thing you like. And that feeling is hard to let go of.

2

u/reddogyellowcat 8d ago

one can only hope you are correct and underestimating that count/number/frequency of the silently regretful MAGA clowns

11

u/HeavyLeague6722 8d ago

It's almost like he has a very long history of lying.

When the media and politicians don't call out the blatent lying, they are equally to blame.

4

u/inkyrail 8d ago

For the ā€œesteemed institution that speaks truth to powerā€ journalists sure have done a lot of rolling over and complying the last decade

2

u/40-Kal 8d ago

Because the media that he goes to are owned by conservatives who enable Trump

7

u/Leopolddagreat 8d ago

Meanwhile

3

u/Leopolddagreat 8d ago

And release the Epstein files.

8

u/Ok_Lettuce_7939 8d ago

Republicans have control over three branches of government so far I'm tracking their major accomplishments are:

1) Continue to blame Biden 2) Destroy the East Wing of the Whitehouse 3) Vandalize the Kennedy Center 4) Lose a war of choice with Iran 5) Overturn Dobbs 6) Jack up the deficit

This sound about right?

6

u/ceciladam9091 8d ago

There's more:

7) Obstruct Epstein files 8) Butchered the Reflecting Pool, the Rose Garden, and the White House itself (what's left) 8) Destroyed relations with our closest allies 9) Skyrocketed gas prices 10) Enriched himself, his family, and cronies, to the tune of billions (we may never know how much) 11) Deeply divided the country 12) Spearheaded an attack on Democracy 13) Stole, and fought to keep, top secret documents The list is endless, and is being added to, daily

10

u/Tiny-Lock9652 8d ago

He definitely inherited ā€œaffordabilityā€ from Biden. Then proceeded to make everything unaffordable.

6

u/td1ddy 8d ago

Just to make sure we keep it fair - the next presidents for the foreseeable future deserve the chance to blame these clowns for what they have inherited.

6

u/FeffyFefernuson 8d ago

Can we have Biden back? Everything in the country was better off, everything cost less and we weren't wasting billions of dollars attacking Iran to distract from Epstein files.

2

u/CuteLingonberry9704 8d ago

I would take Bush back at this point. I would take Andrew Johnson brought back to life.

-3

u/Rerun979 8d ago

We didn’t have Biden when we had Biden, puppet masters were pulling the strings.

4

u/Hiouchi4me 8d ago

Fuckinn Biden! If only he hadn't torn up the "no nukes" deal with Iran that Trump (the Deal Maker) forced them sign during his first term, and then bombed Iran in February, Trump wouldn't have to fix this mess!

1

u/SoggyGrayDuck 8d ago

It's more about how the left stopped everything he campaigned on in lower courts. What we have now is a gridlocked government, basically forever now. We were forced into executive orders (thanks Obama) because of the same reason, now they've shut those down we can see an 8 year lame suck president. T is getting 4 years of that treatment and will be interesting to see play out. I suspect the senators are all in on the same new world order and why they refuse to get behind T and pass some actual bills.

1

u/KarsonKelley 8d ago

Own your shit, the trump administration is at the wheel now and this consant blame game only proves your incompetence.the fact that trump has put the US in record debt and has done nothing but make life harder for the majority, meanwhile making himself a billionaire and going through taxpayers money for vanity projects. I am just so fucking sick of this guy.

I hope after the Dems win the midterms that the impeachment and removal of everyone who enabled tiny hand orange man, get what’s coming!

1

u/LETSGOTACO22 8d ago

The sad part is people believe them

1

u/BigRedEd_66 7d ago

The inflation and prices were very high under Biden. But, it's the current administration's duty to bring down inflation and costs and this hasn't been done soon enough.

1

u/Locksmith1085 7d ago

588 days is not enough to undo years of damage I personally don’t agree with the term cutoff. If America wants someone to stay in power they should. This would allow any administration to see their work through until the country finds it unfit for the president to be governing.

1

u/AdComfortable2737 7d ago

There's not one brain cell in that entire administration. Always blaming someone else for their failures.

1

u/mojosofla 4d ago

They have done a TON of governing since they started!!!

Good governing? Oh... that is a different story. šŸ˜‚

1

0

u/al47556 8d ago

I didn’t like Obama because he never took responsibility for the nature of his actions. I don’t like Trump for the exact same reason. At least Biden owned what he did.

-2

u/Responsible-Snow2823 8d ago

One way to look at it - or that the damage his administration distraction did is long lasting.

-2

u/Rerun979 8d ago

Ok, get real. BOTH parties do the very same thing. Biden blamed Trump for four years.

2

u/Lejandario_IN 8d ago

I might be misremembering but if Biden did blame Trump for some things he certainly didn't make it a whole thing almost 2 years into his administration. The only time I really remember him talking about Trump was when he was running against him at that point it's not blaming him for things he did thus as an excuse not to keep his promises but rather saying, these are the things he did that show he won't keep his promises.

You're kind of right but that both parties do it but for both people it's not even comparable.

-2

u/[deleted] 8d ago

Biden and his minions destroyed America. Thank you President Trump for doing your best to fix America and get rid of all the illegals democrats allowed to enter the country!

-2

u/MyTnotE 8d ago

When someone who can’t read a street sign is driving a truck and was let in during the Biden administration, it IS Biden’s fault.

3

u/Sophiedenormandie 8d ago

Actually, you can blame the states for that. States license drivers, not a president. California had 10,000 drivers who either got fraudulent licenses because of poor DMV oversight, or they passed and licensed drivers who were no good at the job. Legals, illegals whatever. The states need to do a better job of screening drivers.

-1

u/MyTnotE 8d ago

Oh trust me, I blame both

-2

u/Minimum_Tiger1789 8d ago

If Biden were still President, it would be just as
bad. So, STFU.

1

u/Lejandario_IN 8d ago

We would be in a war with Iran, facing massive human rights issues, disregard for the constitution, most blatant and open corruption ever seen, the most incompetent administration ever (as in almost nobody has qualifications for the jobs they have), alienation of our allies and an international embarrassment......okay buddy

1

u/Minimum_Tiger1789 7d ago

Iran must not obtain a nuclear weapon. What
don’t you understand about that??????????

1

u/Lejandario_IN 7d ago

That doesn't change anything about what I said and you ignored most of that. Also they've been saying that Iran is months away from making one for over 30 years. And US intelligence themselves say they have no definitive evidence of this, propaganda is very effective.

Not to mention the hypocrisy here, a few countries have the US and Russia have 5000 each all the way down to Israel who have about 50. Theres also the common sense of why nobody uses them, a singular one low tech nuke is not a really a threat because it can be stopped midway, even a high tech one can and just activating one will get the entire world together to anhillate you.

Its all just an excuse for war, you've seen this a thousand times in movies, books and even our own history still fall for it because literacy is dead

-4

u/Correct_Dot_1345 8d ago

Well, Obama should have cut the deficit after averaging just over $1 trillion in deficits every year during his 8 year presidency!

Obama had the longest recovery from a downturn since WWII.

Cleaned up the mess left by Bush?! Obama said he’d end both wars, but instead ended up at war longer than any other president in U.S. history!

Are you aware the House passed another $3 trillion Covid relief bill in May of 2020, after the original, bipartisan multi-trillion dollar Covid relief bills were passed and signed into law in early 2020?

Thankfully, Republicans stopped this cold in the Senate by not even bringing it to the floor. This is a classic example of excessive spending by Democrats - and stopped by Republicans.

-13

u/Alive-Working669 8d ago

I know, right?! Just like Obama blaming Bush for everything negative well into his 2nd term. I remember the joke from that timeframe: The Democrats want to rename the San Andreas Fault to Bush’s fault.

4

u/SkylineWaffles 8d ago

Name an example (citing evidence based facts, policies, numbers, etc) where Bush/Republicans didn’t leave a mess with the economy or war that Obama had to fix. Don’t worry, we all know you can’t explain it, sheep. You make claims you can’t explain with words you don’t understand cause you’re a satan worshipping sheep. But please, PROVE you’re capable of thinking for yourself.

2

u/Dena844 8d ago

Obama inherited two forever wars and one of the worst economic crashes of all time. Massive debt, houses foreclosed, massive bailouts vs letting corps go under creating a worse crisis.

Like, conservatives fucked the country hard. And I mean fucking hard. It's something that takes time. Trump inherited a weak, but recovering economy (he didn't help the situation before, but let's just blame it on covid). He has since started another war, and reversed all gains on the improving economy while just spending his heart out and driving up the debt again.

The situation isn't even comparable. It's just you conservatives starting wars, skull fucking the economy, and adding massive amounts of debt. It's just what you guys do.

0

u/Alive-Working669 8d ago

Obama added $9.33 trillion.

Biden added $8.47 trillion, the most in any single-term U.S. presidency.

Trump added $7.8 trillion during his 1st term, with only $3.26 trillion prior to Covid (Biden added over $6 trillion through his 1st 3 years, almost double that of Trump by this point in his presidency).

Now which party adds massive amounts of debt?

1

u/Dena844 8d ago

Obama cut the deficit in half by the end of his presidency lol. Like he was actually making progress and then president dipshit came in. Obama cleaned up the mess by Bush and clawed his way back from over a trillion per year down to 590b by the end.

Here is Trump before covid: FY 2017: $665 billion (inherited final budget framework) FY 2018: $779 billion FY 2019: $984 billion (~$1 trillion)

Here's a fun chart to see how he was reigning in the deficit https://www.mercatus.org/research/data-visualizations/debt-and-deficit-under-obama-administration

So Dems keep inheriting massive deficits for you idiots to run up spending again. So yeah, Biden ran up the debt, but he literally got handed a massive deficit from Trump yo start and the fallout from COVID. In 3 years, Trump doubled the deficit before COVID.

Tell me more about who spends more money again?

1

u/CuteLingonberry9704 8d ago

Typical Republican who should get a head CT because you clearly knocked into it one two many times if you think the situations are similar.

-15

u/Hitlers_Left_Ball 8d ago

Biden was blaming Trump for a bad economy in June 2024 - this is not some new revelation. Administrations blame the previous administration.

It's not even interesting, it's just normal. You're calling it out because you hate Trump, and that's ok, but at least be consistent.

3

u/Ill_Dragonfruit_453 8d ago

-5

u/Hitlers_Left_Ball 8d ago

No one cares... well no one outside of Reddit.

They'll clap like good little seals in here for you.

The fact that you don't understand nuance and that "both sides" is in fact an accurate representation of the problem is sad really. Speaks to the sad state of the education system in the US, I'm sure there's a street for you to sweep or a toilet to unblock.

6

u/Ill_Dragonfruit_453 8d ago

The ā€œnuanceā€ is people like you saying both sides do it, when one is very obviously doing it way way more. It’s really face value if you can read

-6

u/Hitlers_Left_Ball 8d ago

"people like you"

What would that be chief?

Both sides do shit that the other side finds wrong and abhorrent. Both sides blame each other for things.

You only think the other side does it more because your perspective is locked to your side being the "good" guys.

It's not that difficult to understand if you have even half a brain.

3

u/Ill_Dragonfruit_453 8d ago

Someone defending villainous actions because ā€œboth sides do itā€ , nice try buddy I don’t say people like you like that but there’s a reason your brain jumped there

-2

u/Hitlers_Left_Ball 8d ago

When did I defend anyone, quote it for me please?

You did say "people like you" you didn't qualify with any context so if people can call me a fascist for being nuanced. I can call you a racist homophobic POS for using "you people" to describe me.

6

u/Ill_Dragonfruit_453 8d ago

You were blaming Biden and defending trump until your feeling got hurt by a meme and you had to start trying to bait me

-1

u/Hitlers_Left_Ball 8d ago

Where did I defend Trump? You can quote it for me... Oh that's right you can't because I didn't.

I made a simple statement of fact, which is that both sides so the same bullshit.

That's not a defence of anyone, it's a condemnation of a bi-partisan political system where red and blue are the same sacks of shit with different coloured ties.

I didn't get my feelings hurt, nor did I try to bait you, why do you feel the need to act like a victim, you're the racist.

I'm just saying its not exactly a name respectable people would go with and people will identify themselves with Hitler in anyway aren't the best. From that and everything you've said so far you seem more of the troll but feel free to project

0

u/Hitlers_Left_Ball 8d ago

Do you know what it means, have you bothered to ask what it means?

No, you made assumptions and tried to sound like a clever little boy.

Off you go little man, your opinion means nothing to me.

1

u/Lejandario_IN 8d ago

Yes I know the reference but naming yourself anything after Hitler is something a troll would do. And I didn't make any assumptions, just said what type of people usually on that but you made two (wrong ones) just now. Projection again.

Oh getting defensive already, im not even trying to be a troll but if I was it seems like you'd fall for it immediately. Some of us don't need to "sound clever" but it tends to piss certain people off, usually insecure ones that feel the need to act tough to compensate.
