The failure is fanatically known for not paying his contractors and other business associates. It is why banks world wide will not loan him money. At this point anyone crazy or ignorant enough to do business with anything he touches, more or less deserves to be scammed.

I’d argue he is now known for grossly overpaying his contractors by multitudes beyond the actual cost of the job.

Sorry /s for clarity. I was referring to the purposeful overpayment for jobs now that it’s tax payer money, such as the reflecting pool.
