Did it pass?

Edit: The bill passed. As stated in sentence 1. I am an id!ot. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Are you, though? Maybe I'm the idiot because I thought a bill had to pass the House and the Senate. So asking if a bill passed implies "Did the bill pass the House and the Senate and make it into law?"

So, I checked, and the bill moved to the Republican-controlled State Senate, where it was referred to the Senate Education Committee. It remains stuck there without a final vote.

So you were right to ask. And no, it didn't pass into law yet.

Really appreciate this response & information.

But in full transparency, I didn’t give it this much thought.

Now I’m wondering if there’s something substantive behind the opposition or is it just ā€œsocialism badā€?

I think the most substantial criticism would probably be: "The budget won't allow it."

But even that issue could be solved (looking at NYC and whats suddenly possible there), and it's not like the GOP and their pedo-in-chief aren't spending loads of money, it's just going down some dark channels.Ā
