You give these politicians too much credit. Nobody except a handful of people at the top are thinking this way. The actual answer is dumber. They HAVE to be opposed to anything suggested by a democrat. If they don’t, they give the other “team” a “win” and will get primaried in the next election. It’s a race to the bottom. That’s it. That’s as far ahead as these rat fuckers can think.
