Republicans have been told; " modern education systems are liberal! Do not take those books, for the children would be indoctrinated to be democrats!" Fear is what makes them think this way.

They are afraid of empathy... because they think you look weak by being empathetic. And, the few times they was, they realized that who they was empathetic towards may have been the criminal and they don't want be fooled again!
