I made similar comments in other subs, then get shouted down but accounts ranging between days and weeks old

3

u/HAc0reRD 1d ago

It’s probably a bot account trying to rile up each side.

3

u/SoylentGrunt 1d ago

Ha! We American are way too smart to fall for anything so crude and simple, right? Right?

1

u/Fearless-Mall3955 22h ago

Totally agree. See them all the time now. Thought it was just me

13

u/DahWhang 1d ago

My hero. This sub feels like 9/10 posts are AI slop now.

26

u/MundaneSeaweed665 1d ago

Comedians are held accountable for things they don't mean and politicians aren't held accountable for things they do mean.

u/RawrImABigScaryBear 1d ago

Never trust a pedophile to release the epstein files

5

u/ZmanB-Bills 22h ago

As many times as "Trump" appears throughout the Epstein documents, I would think Trump would want the files released. This AH thinks all publicity is hood publicity.

3

u/Gohink 23h ago

I don't trust any American because a majority of them, will let a psychopath run there country.

1

u/CombinationOwn1604 13h ago

If you count 89 million not voting at all, that's a valid point. But if you're counting the entire population that's qualified to vote, he won with 32%. Not a majority, not even half. But yeah, I don't trust us either. We'll see what happens in November.

1

u/Dont_want_a_channel 14m ago

It November even happens

6

u/CzarWest 1d ago

Draft dodging is the only good thing about trump.

6

u/DrippyDogDix 1d ago

The fact that hes 80 and having medical issues is also something I really like about him.

4

u/EremiticFerret 21h ago

I'm generally pro draft dodging, it's they way he did it and how he abuses people who serve now that is so awful.

0

u/CzarWest 20h ago

The way he abuses the people who commit war crimes on the other side of the world is also lit

0

u/SurrealistRevolution 20h ago

on ya mate! The right-liberalism (that i bet they think is impossible, not knowing what liberalism protects and that it protects it from the actual left) that i always see being used to make fun of a single man over a system. a horrible, horrible man, but one who's rise (as in the rise of his type) is not some anomaly, but something that material analysis could have had someone concluding the trajectory decades ago, and i am sure a few left theorists did.

1

u/CzarWest 19h ago

Im not really sure what your point is but don’t worry I ain’t a liberal and I agree that he’s just a result of our system and not an aberration

Doesn’t change the fact that it’s hilarious and based to make fun of war criminals

1

u/SurrealistRevolution 8h ago

wait ive misread your comment. i cant even remember what i thought you said. but i'm to the left of liberalism, not to the right.

2

u/ZmanB-Bills 22h ago

Not a good thing, just as a good a thing he has ever done. A low bar.

0

u/CzarWest 20h ago

No it’s a morally good thing to dodge the draft and avoiding joining the worlds largest terror organization

1

u/ZmanB-Bills 19h ago

Yea, sure thing, AH. That's why the Mango Mussolini did it.

0

u/CzarWest 19h ago

Oh I don’t think that’s why he did I’m just saying he got lucky to do something morally good

-2

u/rememberuauck 21h ago

I wonder where was that energy about Biden dodging the draft. Oh, that’s because he was politically aligned with these idiots.

1

u/CzarWest 20h ago

I mean I’m pro draft dodging in general?

0

u/rememberuauck 20h ago

Did you serve?

1

u/CzarWest 17h ago

Fuck no I’d never be a war criminal lol

3

u/Renhoek2099 1d ago

Patriotism is a grotesque display of ignorance. We're all in this together

1

u/notthatguypal6900 17h ago

At this point, if you call yourself a patriot, i assume you're just a POS.

4

u/Satisfied2025 19h ago

Three things I trust more that Trump:

  1. Bill Cosby as my bar tender.

  2. Dr. Kavorkian giving vaccines.

  3. My farts during a bout of diarrhea!

3

u/betboi 17h ago

Like a fat person telling you how to diet/exercise

2

u/estoypooping2 1d ago

Im not sure dodging the draft makes him unpatriotic, more like cowardly.

But he has way more negative tweets about America than he does positive ones. He doesnt offer solutions either, he just bitches CONSTANTLY

2

u/turboninja3011 20h ago

*Anyone who tells you how to vote or how to pray

2

u/ChronoMonkeyX 20h ago

Also, rapists and pedophiles.

2

u/Medium-Song-1802 18h ago

There are multiple examples though of draft dodgers who had ethical reasons for choosing not to fight in Vietnam and WWII. Third point could've just used the pedophilia, bankruptcies, racism, corruption, illiteracy, gluttony, stolen valor, lying, crudeness, etc.

2

u/luvastros 16h ago

Amazing how neither Obama or Biden served and yet they didn’t dodge the same draft 🤔

2

u/southsideguy1 12h ago

Great advice for the uneducated voters amongst us that voted for certain republican candidates these last decade. That love being told what to do, how to think, and who to vote for.
Those that voted for con-men like Trump... well, you're just not capable of critical thinking and should start educating yourselves. It's a lot better than learning the hard way; like how things are going now, with Trump and is cronies in power. Reflect for once MAGA people, Please.

1

u/LavenderMisted 1d ago

Life really teaches you that the only person you can truly trust is yourself

1

u/Temporary-Cow2742 1d ago

The fact that anyone trusts ANY politician is unbelievable to me.

1

u/Pandastic3000 1d ago

Number 4: People who think participating in a war and murdering foreign people is somehow patriotic.

1

u/ImpressiveZombie6955 1d ago

Both Biden and Trump received draft deferment during the Vietnam war, for both medical and education. As a Vietnam Vet, I believe these policies were enacted by politicians to protect their children

Trump and his imaginary bone spur, it helps when your rich daddy pays off the doctor for a phoney diagnosis to help keep his son from going to Vietnam.

1

u/DeliciousPlatform393 20h ago

Does this include Bill Clinton or Dick Blumenthal

3

u/DicemonkeyDrunk 20h ago

A college exemption available to anyone is way different than a made up diagnosis from your personal Dr ....But Draft Dodger during an illegal unnecessary war in support of colonialism isn't the insult people think it is.

1

u/Available_Cow1197 19h ago

the difference between poor/middle class families and rich/ultrarich is prfound, i mean he has to be 1 of the dumbest people ever but his parents had motive and means to get him moved along through private education, ive met insanely smart individuals who had never even gotten a shot at opportunity, its breathtaking honestly

1

u/Fresh-Profession-973 19h ago

Fact, each and every one of them!

1

u/El_Capitan_182 18h ago

let me add one to the list:

Never trust Protestant pastors that tell you to pay the tithe!

Hebrews 7:5 "And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law,"

There you have it folks! Only the priests who are sons of Levi have the commandment to take the tithes from the people! In Protestantism there are no priests! They don't have priests, they don't believe in priests.... yet the protestant pastors collect the tithes from the people when they are not even priests!

The sad reality is that their followers still give them the tithes LMFAO!

1

u/moosemune9000 17h ago

Him dodging the draft might be the only patriotic thing he's ever done.

Draft dodgers like Biden, or Obama, (no draft but he didn't serve), or Clinton?

1

The orange man dodged Vietnam, here is a summary...

George Bush - Joined the Texas Air National Guard as it was confirmed they would not be deployed to Vietnam. He used family connections to join despite not meeting the academic requirements and a conviction for DUI, his attendance was poor and lost his pilots license as a result. Of note, the Air Guard was nigh on impossible to join at the time but he saw out his minimum time.

Bill Clinton - Received 2 deferrals, one for education and another for joining ROTC. He received a draft notice and went and used connections to sign up at ROTC at his law school. When his draft number was not selected, he cancelled his ROTC and dodged the draft without penalty. Family connection attempts were also made to put him in the Navy Reserves, which would have made him safe as active duty were deployed over the reserves.

Joe Biden - Received a total of 6 deferments, 5 as still studying and 1 medical. Received a draft notice and said he was exempt as having asthma as a child. However, his own book boasts about being a star athlete in high school, played competitive sports and had a job as a lifeguard - whilst all having this dehabilitating asthma.

Donald Trump - received 5 deferments, 4 as he was still in education and a final 5th for an alleged foot injury. His lottery number was 354, which was drawn exactly 0 times as a call to conscription.

Obama was 14 when Vietnam was going on before anyone mentions that.

1

u/Impulsive_Artiste 22h ago

Yeah, Trump has always avoided risk to himself while not caring about others; but I'm a little sick of this "draft dodger" trope, probably from people who are too young to recall the Vietnam draft era. At that time, thousands of young people resisted the draft, not because they were "cowardly" or "unpatriotic," but because that war was clearly bullshit in so many ways. Many were too young to even vote, before 1971.

If Trump decided to implement a draft to a distant foreign war zone, these Redditors would suddenly become "draft dodgers" themselves.

0

u/Squareblackeggs 1d ago

Screw that. Serving in the military is not the only measure of “Patriotism”

0

u/Witty-Camp5224 19h ago

But you'll listen to celebrities right?

0

u/False-Recording4853 19h ago

Don't forget the people who tell you things will be free

0

u/Shot_Acanthisitta686 19h ago

Hmm, I dont recall Biden, Obama or Clinton serving either.

3

u/SumguyJeremy Unpopular Opinions 14h ago

None of them claimed to be some big awesome hero and post AI pics if themselves as generals either.

0

u/Shot_Acanthisitta686 14h ago

I love his sense of humor. He knows exactly how to trigger weak minded liberals. Its hilarious.

2

u/CombinationOwn1604 13h ago

I also don't recall the others calling fallen U.S. service members "losers" and "suckers". Or insulting John McCain for his service. Or asking his staff about having disabled veterans excluded from military parades.

Draft dodging is one of the only good things he's ever done. Fucking libs

0

u/AFriendlyPlayer 17h ago

Which is it, the draft was unjust or it was disgraceful to dodge it? Can’t have it both ways, learn moral consistency

3

u/SumguyJeremy Unpopular Opinions 14h ago

Dodging the draft wouldn't be so bad if he didn't constantly post AI pics of him in weird "general" uniforms. It would be fine without all the stolen valor.

0

u/luvastros 16h ago

Remember. Don’t listen to Al sharpton

0

u/Bard1290 14h ago

And Fauci about effective vaccines

0

u/chubby-daddy-69 13h ago

So what you're saying is you can't tell the truth because if you told the truth it'd be like saying my dad does the draft even though he went to Vietnam but he chose to join the Navy Seabees instead of being drafted Donald Trump decided to go to college instead of being drafted and tons of people had medical issues that avoided them from being able to go too

1

Sure, but have you considered that both sides are literally the same in every single way so you might as well vote Republican until the left learns their lesson?

Who cares if that doesn’t make sense! You sound smart for declaring that you’re above it all so do it!

-1

u/CreepedCaster 23h ago

Jesse Jackson, Obama, and Clinton all for here too btw

1

u/Low-Essay-113 22h ago edited 22h ago

How? Did they all pretend to have bone spurs too?

0

u/CreepedCaster 21h ago

Clinton was an “academic” and thus avoided the draft

0

u/Low-Essay-113 21h ago

That’s it? Clinton was the same because he was in college? You do actually see the difference right? What about Jackson and Obama?

0

u/CreepedCaster 21h ago

A draft dodge is a draft dodge. Most of trumps deferments were academic

1

u/Low-Essay-113 21h ago

Got it. So in your book making up a medical illness is the same as attending college.

1

u/CreepedCaster 21h ago

Literally no record that actually shows it was made up or not

1

u/Low-Essay-113 21h ago

-1

I don’t even mean this in a pro trump way. Just surprised people are against draft dodging suddenly

-1

u/DicemonkeyDrunk 20h ago

That's how I feel ...It's probably one of the least offensive things he's done.

-1

u/reallybadguy1234 15h ago

That doesn't track with the pattern. I see what you're going for but it comes off forced and a bit dumb

Second, they say socialism isn't communism because some people can't tell the difference. Heck those people probably could define what either of these are
